At the bottom of the garden, surrounded by lush green vegetation, lives a very, VERY nervous snail. One night, Snail finds himself face to face with his biggest fear. He lets out a terrible wail. Just when Snail thinks things can't get any worse, they do... much worse!

About the Author
Spending her working career in primary and secondary schools, Barbara Lancaster-Williams helped young people cultivate a desire to read, write and be creative. Along with spending many hours reading with her own children, she realised she had an aspiration to write and illustrate books of her own.
Her family has always been at the centre of her life and over the years, this included many pets. Taking inspiration from her experiences, Barbara has embarked on creating stories for the young based on her daughter’s five pet ferrets.
