Description

Every so often when life gets out of control, you read a book. The trouble is that, sometimes you can't tell the difference between the book and yourself. Some people lives are in the realm where reality and fiction bump heads too often.

For life is energy and make sure you travel within your own path, for you were appointed.  And, if not, that strength is wasted on meaningless circumstances.  So as life journeys on, pain and misery continues, consequently, gladness do evolve, still poetry is and will be an inner pulse for the human soul.

We carry on to write and remain as we rise, because “The Blues” may be a song, but by no means a fulfilled story.  This occurrence of our peace of “music” will persevere to stir in our souls forevermore.  For we inscribe for righteousness and clarity of thought.

These writings are an extraction of our thoughts concerning affection and distress, truth and unconventional feelings, equanimity, pleasure and disappointments, longsuffering and forgiveness, benevolence and goodwill, disillusionment and gratification, abhorrence and adoration, consternation and concerns, and imagination and dreams.  These letters of passion are in hope to give thought provoking thoughts to our readers, of how we choose to walk with our daily lives, and how we behave towards our equal selves, meaning all mankind.

Where as, material things may seem to separate us, but in actuality tells the genuine story of how we are all akin.  Accordingly, read and enjoy, but remember that all life is valuable and worthy of love.  Now, do your best and give your most excellent service to all mankind with inclusive and undamaged uprightness.  For every good gift should be performed within the very nature it was given.

PART 1

Today
I missed you today
I wished I could talk to you,
Just then you brushed against my cheeks
And you did what you always did; whisper a silly joke that I didn’t get; yet I smiled.
Just then we rode the wind like we did when we were little.

Just then I looked up and saw two clouds playing tag.
As I prepared to drop a tear,
The wind blew a little harder and pushed it back into nonexistence,
Just then you posed for one more picture.

And as I sit and daydream I realize that you are still with me,
So many years,
So many tears.
Never let them forget.
Not as long as I’m around

PS. talk to you soon
Don’t Cry For Me
Wipe the tears from your eyes.
Don’t cry for me I’m still here.
I’m in a special place, where you go when you are sleep. In between sunrays and moonlit nights.
When you are doing wrong and something steers you right. You think it’s your conscious in your ear.
It is really me.
Just as you awaken I am fading away.
I watch over you while you sleep.
I will see you later.
The stars need to rest also.
Sympathy
Last night I saw an angel.
I did. not know it just yet.
We would not have thought they would leave us yet. But today we all sit in and we wept.
Cursing our very souls and filled with regret. Who knows what the next day will bring.
Could be sadness.
Could be pain.
Could be sorrow.
We all live to the fullest on time borrowed.
Missing You
Holidays coming around again.
I can’t help to wonder where you have been?
Prayers caught in my throat unable to speak.
My body starts to tremble and my soul is weak.
Uncle, remember we sat in front of Saturday cartoons? No milk but water on our Lorna Dunes.
Bill collectors at the front door.
Baby brother stretched out on the living room floor. Little brother running up the street just for fun. Your smile, nothing like it under the sun.
The streets turn boys into men real fast.
Living that life can’t last.
Family gatherings just ain’t the same.
Tears flow from my eyes when I speak your name. After each death thinking (God has let me down) Watching each one lowered into the ground.
On my knees praying that you are heaven bound. Thank you for the years of love and laughter. It’s hard to let go but I know I have to. Writing this I feel so blue.
I can’t change a damn thing.
But I’m truly missing you.
My Demise
Each night I had a dream of my demise. Though they carried many weapons
Fear lived in their eyes.
We were together on a regular basis.
Yet, I could read deception in their faces. Down for whatever
Through all types of weather
We stood together.
How could they not get rid of me?
How could they continue to let me eat? Pushing the hottest thing on the street. Beating the baddest chicks in the sheets.
I know the rules and I continued to play. That’s why I took your man out that way. No thoughts
No plans
Just straight to the point
Me and my girl
Rubbed her --s and she began to spit No close calls but all direct hits
He was one of many but the most important one
My days now are numbered and that’s the way of the gun. I guess you know its time for me to go. No matinee but the last picture show.
Nino’s Sung
I’m calling for you from this dark place I call home. My private ghetto where my soul is laid to rest.
You feel me reaching for you even. though I have taken my last breath. Creeping through your dreams on some Freddie Kruger --it.
Open the gateway and let my main man out.
I’m here for your soul, what do you think this is about? Didn’t think you would see me again?
Had the chance to pray to your god and you still wouldn’t repent. Hell opened up and I’m the one they sent.
Surprised to see me?
Karma baby.
It’s a part of this game.
On your knees and pray, you know my ---kin name!!!!!!!
Dealers Athen
We rise and we fall
We answer the call
We make runs to the stash
We sleep on corners for the cash
We kill one another
Even if the other is our brother
We be arrogant
But we is street smart
Holding my gun don’t take heart
Some of us drive nice cars
We are ghetto SUPERSTARS
Often have to testify in front of a Grand
We lie on the witness stand
We go to the club and buy out the bar
All the chicks know who we are
We sleep with one eye open in the middle of the night We sleeps in our boots in case we need to take flight Four different cribs to hide the product
One main chick to bail us out when we get locked up
“I pledge allegiance to the dead presidents of the united states of america With liberty and justice as I see fit”
From My Heart 2 Yours
So full of life one day.
