Awake
I like the peace
I can’t even hear the beep
Darkness surrounds me
There is nothing, only me
Can’t remember how I got here
I know something bad took place
But the knowledge escapes
There’s a painful throb
Just beyond my reach
For this I’m happy
For I can sleep
Life moves fast
But in here the pace is slow
I can breathe deeply
Maybe even let go
Time has stopped
Or so it seems
While my body ages
My mind stays the same
For my mind there is function
My body not so much
Yet sometimes I feel something
Running up my arm
Or a stroke on my leg
These I can’t explain
The touches are not from me.
The maze widens
Every time I hear a voice
There it is again
My name!
I don’t understand
Whose calling
Can I ignore?
I wanna stay here some more
But they keep calling
A light is forming
It’s spreading
It’s spreading
Brightness, Hello!



Transition
I am here
The lights are bright
The sound surrounds
Pleasure releases by a touch
Everyone here loves so much
Loved ones are missed
But this sadly is nothing but bliss
We walk on the path
One made with golden crown
The warmth gladly surrounds
Showing this is truly real
We are in heaven, bow down.



Life
Escape is a word I cherish
Not because it means leaving
But that it means freedom
The journey of losing oneself
or the beauty in staying true
And forming something anew
Redemption starts not with a bang
But a ding
Beats are performed from a failure’s drum
Can you find the Beauty in despair?
The sorrow in hope?
The wisdom in letting go?
The joy in saying goodbye?
The memories we long to keep
Trapped by those that refused to leave.
Making us seem forever incomplete.

Can you justify the lips you are about to kiss?
Can you reshape the face you have repeatedly
hit?
Can you speak the language of love?
Without calling it a destructive drug.
Can you glorify all the aspects of hate?
Have you experienced the hands of time and
fate?
The one that moves along to the beat of fine
History, yes follow a broken line
Filled with many roads’ bumps
And endless twists
Most of which we can never predict.
But we build pillars along the way
Some sadly sway and decay
While others sway but stand
Holding us with an outstretched hand
That sometimes it shakes but never disperses.
All the while keeping us safe from the
earthquake
So, we can never forget
Even after that final cut.
Together we are wonderfully stuck
We two have become one
Finally, we can shape the future
We’ll call this life.



1 Universal Pathway
I have turned to the moon
It has disowned me
I then turn to the sun
Abandonment was given as fun

So now I sow my sins
Maybe one day I can meet a Jinn
Someone who’s twisted but true
Someone with whom dreams can come true.

But the world doesn’t work like that
We are given slaps not claps
We hear the word leave
More than stay
And we see the world burn
Then turns grey
We are called unworthy
Something they wish would decay
But remember the dead can’t talk
Just as actions use words.
We greet the world with smiles
Yet we are cursed with pus-filled boils.
We look for rain
Yet received hail
So we start to play
Because in this we cannot fail.

So even though we can never be mages
Let’s face the world by turning over a new page.
While we remember that yesterday will eventually fade
So come along so we won’t be late.
The future is ready. Hurrah.
