The earlier writing of this second book was during a time of development in all ways, processing to attempt to ascend as a human being and as an athlete artist just finishing high school. I enjoyed creative writing as a child, but found during this time that I could slide into all the cosmoses attached personally, globally, and ethereally as soon as a vibe presented itself at the tip of my consciousness and pen.

This book is dedicated to life found in lost towns, as well as to lost & found love all around...
Everywhere, nowhere, anywhere;
riding a dinghy
in the deep, dark ocean of luck,
chancing what there is left to chance.
Maybe this, maybe that;
indecisive as the Texas winds that
can change in an hour… a m i n u t e… a s e c o n d.
Holding on where there is no grip,
all the while contemplating what happened?.?.
Embarking on what makes life worth
living.
Jovial at times,
ornery at others, but
never,
ever, do I
stray from those dear to my heart

You’ve got me under your skin
I turned your world
upside-down.
Purposefully
stumbling you towards
your own freedom.
Maybe you don’t see
it yet,
but it lives under your skin.
Orgasmic itch that cannot be scratched.
Touch me still
and my response is of
filthy purity.
Let your mind roam free
together with me.
You go your way,
just a little different than before;
and I will watch,
with a grin from
deep within,
a progression of life
and love.

Invisible bind that ties
Even though forever will not be
you and me;
a connection there will always be.
Something to smile about
all night,
and weep
during the
day;
come play
for just a little while.
When we separate,
not to worry,
we will soon meet again
sometime later.
Patience,
patience;
is slow to be learned
and to the body
be accepted
fully.
My heart,
breath,
power
too big to carry
just one;
I can’t be your everything.

Going for a walk today…
The fresh air
and captivating scenery
help my thoughts flow.
I feel free through gravity.
Rivers, oceans, and streams
sweep along
as does my energy, too.

this little colorful thing…
It can hypnotize;
lobotomize.
A violation to all my senses,
numbing my
sense of being.
Do I dare extinguish
my education,
or further
vegetate
in front of my very own
electronic pony express?

Dead in my mind
April Fool’s Day!
The joke’s on me…
A dear friend
had a tear in her eye.
She missed something
that was well too far away,
yet it managed
to cloud her day.
“Whether good or bad”,
I said,
“my life experiences
live inside me
and shape me as I am;
but the past,
whether bad or good or how alive in me it is,
is dead in my mind”.

Mellow yellow sun
The city lights blind my eyes;
the stinging smell
of the newness of everything
sometimes hurts my soul.
There always seems like
too much to do,
yet not enough to really ponder about.
Simple problems nip at me
in this complicated world;
maybe because I can’t
seem to catch up.
But, then I sit in a comfortable place,
with comfortable air,
and wonder why,
in relaxing amazement,
the sunset looks so particularly
beautiful that day.
