my
generation
got
turned
to mush
like
oatmeal
by drugs
because
they were
assholes
and
didn't
give
a fuck
S.O.B.
That's right
the
son of a bitch
was on
the roof
fucking around
with something
all I know is
he said some
shit to my dad
that I
didn't like
but can't
remember now
anyway
I kept inviting
him
to come down
from the roof
so I could
rearrange his
physiognomy
he never did

mode of day to day living

to look deep inside themselves

really are and live with that

had recently passed away
and I instantly knew
that woman didn't
have the same name
that name was her name
and I smiled inside to
know she made it out
of the
woods before she died
Transported
Taken back to my old
hood last night
saw the street sign of
my old street
saw the trolley barns
the park where it all
went on last night
didn't. Couldn't.
recognized my street
in what is now the
2 nd most dangerous
hood in the city
but I did have a flash
a vision of the corner
