The Poet’s

Compilation

Five Books from the Author of the Chronicles of Maananpen
Love becomes the clothing and the food… love of all things, love

in Ma’at and harmony breathing such tranquility, the

beholder becomes part of it. The footsteps are quiet as the

voice sings with all things. Words fly as curious as the

wind, color becomes lost in light, on a flight to the steps of

Rastau, to an awaiting spirit as vast as the universe.

Let there Always Be – Wine Women and Song!

By

Anthony Francis Balinger
Wine which music is; Music and wine are one; That I, drinking this, shall hear far chaos talk with me, Kings unborn shall walk with me, And the poor grass shall plot and plan what it will do when it is man. – Emerson
To thy face my fingers trace

With your eyes singing love songs.

Every longing thought I have becomes you.

A fire of Passion fills me, with every kiss,

For there upon your lips, thy loveliness

Resplendent dress.

A secret breath of love’s delight

To linger Upon me,

With its fertile sweet impress.
Drink long the wine amid all your words oh sage

Then with thy cloak of knowing

Wrap thyself with its sublime loveliness.

Wrap with its songs of humble mercy

And to the dawn’s delight

Where eyes behold ambling thoughts, Wonder who shall it be -

across time,

Who will come again to find the essence of you.
I dle rest upon this brow,

Consumed in loveliness…Of simply now.

Heavens dance before my eyes,

when dawn doth within me conscious-arise,

For goodness graces cast, softly they touch.

And I am so blessed for the stirring

Within my soul to sing,

To sing the words… That I once was here,

And loved everything.
T he Starlight in Your Eyes

I behold the jewels of your eyes,

timeless there gleaming in the skies.

A cross a twinkling starlit heaven

enfold,

And to my heart, such joy sung there,

Joyous; those intimate words

untold.
A dance with you entwined,

carefree beyond time.

And time, whose relentless spiralled

beat –

Through all her seasons, yields not yet

once,

For neither young nor the old,

But save for love itself alone,

searching, searching; that light

sublime.

The Enigmatic Mata-Hari
Oh drink with me this

Beauteous Mellow wine

The cup of my love,

Let me touch thy angelic face

Oh sister of my soul.

Before thou and time

I lament my solitude...

And somewhere far away

You understand me.

The night conceals,

Velvet slowly, slowly steals.

Morning the vault of today....

Kiss me with you....kiss me ...kiss me.
