Annie Can!
They said she couldn’t, wouldn’t
And she did!
Did what? You ask;
Well, she beat Cancer.
Not just any cancer,
But, stage 4 CML
And she accomplished this at just 1yr.
Can you do that?
Not many can, but
Annie Can!
She went to school and endured bullies because treatments like chemo and radiation made her shorter than others. She wore glasses too. Kids made fun and asked lots of questions. But Annie answered the best she could and coped by building walls to conceal her differences, and block people out, and keep people from knowing her.
