Description

There has to be a recording of that lake and the animals that live there in the archive someplace. I'm surprised he did not pass out from blood loss, it's everywhere. I pray he heals fast I was in denial about needing him but now I know I do. I hate seeing everyone else's future but not my own. That would be a useful skill, but I guess the Lord didn't want us to know our own destiny.

Introduction by A. G. Harrison

Introduction

From the time human felt the necessity to communicate, he realized the value of the written word and wrote by drawing on cave walls, clay tablets, stones, papyrus, parchment, paper, and today, with the development of technology, he has created e-books.

The object "book" is classified in industrial products, but at the same time it is a cultural good. Personally, I emphasize both of its dimensions, but mainly in its cultural dimension. I consider the book to be the most important expression of culture because quite simply, in addition to being the same work of art, it supports all other expressions of culture.

As an industrial product, through the many stages of its creation and before it reaches the hands of the reader, it financially supports a wide range of professions, such as writers, philologists, translators, designers, publishers, paper merchants, printing houses, bookbinders, distributors and, finally, bookstores… Let us not forget, of course, that today it also greatly supports the huge online market industry.

The governments of many countries, studying and delving into the economic benefits of the book, have invested and supported this industry in various ways, which flourished and offered them great financial gains.

Starting with the Sumerians, Babylonians and other peoples of Mesopotamia, who wrote on clay tablets, Egyptians and Romans, who wrote on papyrus, the Jews on parchment, the evolution with handwritten books images in the Middle Ages in Europe, the creation of the first wooden typographic elements and paper by the Chinese, who printed the first books, the discovery of metallic elements by the German Johannes Gutenberg during the Renaissance and the really rapid development of printing in 1450 until 1456 and, finally, during the 19th-20th century the Industrial Revolution, which makes the production of the book flourish are some examples of the value of the written word.

The agony and effort of all these civilized societies, over time, in various parts of the world, teaches us that the book is an integral part of human existence.

Throughout this course the book records and transports from the depths of the centuries ancient civilizations, which teach us about the mistakes that we can avoid or imitate the achievements of our ancestors and adopt timeless principles and values, supplies for survival. but also the evolution of the human species.

By reading a book, we have the opportunity to create with our imagination the heroes of history, landscapes, various objects, etc. In the pages of a book, the author, in addition to his study, research, experiences, also expresses his feelings. He makes us members of his own world and gives us the opportunity to learn.

It helps us to acquire knowledge but also to enrich our vocabulary, improving our own writing.

It contributes to our mental alertness, increases the ability to focus, improves our memory, helps to develop our analytical mental abilities, entertains us, calms us down and helps reduce stress.

Of course, apart from the importance of touch and contact with a hot material, reading a quality book contributes significantly and decisively to our self-education, the cultivation of critical thinking, the upgrading of our aesthetics and consequently contributes to our quality of life.

It conveys art, informs, cultivates the spirit and the soul, elevates intelligence, finds solutions to problems, conveys messages, circulates ideas, forms consciences.

I hope my books convey a message of personal experiences and you could find segments of your own truth as well.

Thank you in advance for being here and being ready to start reading.
Chapter 1

Crystal lay completely still on a marble table under a velvet blue sheet waiting for the sentinel Calgar sent. Why Calgar wanted her body was still a mystery, so Agnis came up with this plan to trap the man and get information from him.

Nasir and Jaron were in two corners hidden under tables while Lil Ray and Rashon were behind two large pillars, one on each side of Crystal. It was complete darkness in the room but each of them wore night vision glasses to help them see. They assumed the sentinel would also be wearing night vision glasses, so all the men were also wearing special suits to make them invisible. Another invention Crystal had come up with when making Athena’s special transport. The men didn’t like them until they realized they could still see each other but no one else could see them.

Crystal got a warm feeling and was told the sentinel was coming. She took two deep breaths and slowed her breathing down to shallow breaths. It was quiet but she heard the doors to the chamber open then a soft click when it closed. No footsteps sounded, but she felt the cloth move at her side a few moments later. She kept her eyes closed and face completely expressionless as he pulled the sheet off her face. At that exact moment, her body stiffened and she stopped breathing; the ring had literally taken her breath away. Crystal could hear and knew what was happening but couldn’t move nor speak.

He moved Crystal’s head from side to side as if to check her. He then placed the cover back and started wrapping her up. Before he could pick her up, Rashon and Lil Ray came from behind the pillars with Nasir and Jaron coming up behind him. They all attacked, wrestling him to the ground tying his hands behind his back and the lights came on.

A door hidden in the far corner opened and Agnis, Heronn, Ahrius and Ray walked in. The others uncovered their heads from the hoods on the suits while Heronn pressed the sentinel to the floor. After stripping the sentinel of his weapons and communication devices, Jaron and Lil Ray pulled him to his knees facing Agnis.

“Why have you broken into this palace and disrespected the place for our dead?” she asked.

He was quiet, glaring at her.

“Answer the question!”

He spat at her and Nasir slapped him. Heronn then grabbed him by his face squeezing both his cheeks.

“Your queen just asked you a question, answer her now,” Heronn said with force.

“Why did Calgar send you here?” Agnis asked.

The sentinel was still quiet. Lil ray flexed the sentinel’s arms behind his back and the sentinel grimaced and clenched his teeth from the pain.

“I can stop now and you answer the question or I can continue to slowly break your arm, pick one,” Lil Ray said.

The sentinel hissed and broke out into a sweat from the pain.

“Calgar wants the body of the protector,” he said through his teeth.

“Why?” Rashon asked.

The sentinel was quiet, so Lil Ray flexed his arms again causing more pain.

“Calgar still wants her for his queen; he plans to bring her back from the dead.”

Everyone stared at him in pure shock.

“Impossible,” Agnis said blinking. “That goes too far and shows Calgar has gone completely mad.”

“Is it? Is he? All of you are fools, do you not see, even in death, the amount of power coming off her. It’s been three days since she passed on and death has not even tarnished her beauty. Calgar is correct in saying she shows all the signs of a true and great queen of Trigone.”

“Even if it were possible she wouldn’t be holding the throne with Calgar, take him to the dungeon. Make sure he is locked up by himself with extra guards,” Rashon said.

Jaron and Lil Ray got the sentinel up and walked him out of the chamber. Rashon walked over to the sentinels’ things they took off of him and smashed his communicator.
