Description

Even though he was only twenty-seven years old, he'd led an active life. After serving a year in Afghanistan as part of a forward squad, he'd been wounded and sent home. Once back in the states the Marines declared that he was now unfit for further service and they discharged him with a hefty fifty percent disability. Even with part of his right lung gone and one of his ribs removed, he still functioned well enough for most jobs, but he didn't want just any old job, he wanted to do something exciting, something that made his blood race through his veins.

Introduction by A. G. Harrison

Introduction

From the time human felt the necessity to communicate, he realized the value of the written word and wrote by drawing on cave walls, clay tablets, stones, papyrus, parchment, paper, and today, with the development of technology, he has created e-books.

The object "book" is classified in industrial products, but at the same time it is a cultural good. Personally, I emphasize both of its dimensions, but mainly in its cultural dimension. I consider the book to be the most important expression of culture because quite simply, in addition to being the same work of art, it supports all other expressions of culture.

As an industrial product, through the many stages of its creation and before it reaches the hands of the reader, it financially supports a wide range of professions, such as writers, philologists, translators, designers, publishers, paper merchants, printing houses, bookbinders, distributors and, finally, bookstores… Let us not forget, of course, that today it also greatly supports the huge online market industry.

The governments of many countries, studying and delving into the economic benefits of the book, have invested and supported this industry in various ways, which flourished and offered them great financial gains.

Starting with the Sumerians, Babylonians and other peoples of Mesopotamia, who wrote on clay tablets, Egyptians and Romans, who wrote on papyrus, the Jews on parchment, the evolution with handwritten books images in the Middle Ages in Europe, the creation of the first wooden typographic elements and paper by the Chinese, who printed the first books, the discovery of metallic elements by the German Johannes Gutenberg during the Renaissance and the really rapid development of printing in 1450 until 1456 and, finally, during the 19th-20th century the Industrial Revolution, which makes the production of the book flourish are some examples of the value of the written word.

The agony and effort of all these civilized societies, over time, in various parts of the world, teaches us that the book is an integral part of human existence.

Throughout this course the book records and transports from the depths of the centuries ancient civilizations, which teach us about the mistakes that we can avoid or imitate the achievements of our ancestors and adopt timeless principles and values, supplies for survival. but also the evolution of the human species.

By reading a book, we have the opportunity to create with our imagination the heroes of history, landscapes, various objects, etc. In the pages of a book, the author, in addition to his study, research, experiences, also expresses his feelings. He makes us members of his own world and gives us the opportunity to learn.

It helps us to acquire knowledge but also to enrich our vocabulary, improving our own writing.

It contributes to our mental alertness, increases the ability to focus, improves our memory, helps to develop our analytical mental abilities, entertains us, calms us down and helps reduce stress.

Of course, apart from the importance of touch and contact with a hot material, reading a quality book contributes significantly and decisively to our self-education, the cultivation of critical thinking, the upgrading of our aesthetics and consequently contributes to our quality of life.

It conveys art, informs, cultivates the spirit and the soul, elevates intelligence, finds solutions to problems, conveys messages, circulates ideas, forms consciences.

I hope my books convey a message of personal experiences and you could find segments of your own truth as well.

Thank you in advance for being here and being ready to start reading.
Chapter One

“My God, Pete,” Connie declared rolling off of Pete, “where have you been all my life?” Laying there breathing hard and not bothering to pull anything over her sweaty body, she felt absolutely wonderful, fulfilled, flushed and hot, too hot for anything to touch her except Pete’s hand and it was.

With his hand still on her breast, Pete rolled on his side and propped himself up on one elbow before saying, “Lady I have been wondering this very same thing myself. I have made love to women before, but never have I experienced the degree of pleasure you give me.”

They lay there like that for a few more moments before she sat up and asked, “Do you think the others know what we’re doing down here?”

“Now here’s a more important question to ask yourself, do you think they care?”

“I don’t know about them, but I sure as hell do. Mr. Stone, I’m in love for perhaps the first time in my life. And no, I don’t care what they think at this stage of the game. I was simply curious, that's all.”

“I don’t give a rat’s ass what they think. I’m in love with you too and that’s all that matters in my book. ”

She leaned forward causing her breasts to swing away from her body as she kissed him hard. Somehow, she had to convey to him all the feelings she had coursing through her body right then without using words. She succeeded.

Pete caught one of those heavenly globes and when his hand touched her nipple an electric current shot through her body causing her to shutter and collapse on him, pushing them both down onto the damp sheets once more.

Fifteen minutes later they were in the bathroom drying each other off after a quickie shower together. Pete’s eyes drank in the sheer beauty of her; she was everything he wanted in a woman and more.

They dressed in silence while constantly looking at one another and smiling. Pete thought, she’s definitely gorgeous, she’s smart, she’s thoughtful, she’s playful and funny in her own way, she’s honest and dependable and most of all she loves the Mermaid Dream almost as much as I do. So, what’s keeping me from making her last name Stone? Absolutely nothing!

Dressed in her ever-present jean shorts, Connie was thinking about Pete along almost the same lines, only she had not gotten to the name change yet. He was great in bed, considerate of her needs, as well as his own and that was a rarity these days. He never gave it a second thought about helping her and Penny and letting all that money slip through his fingers. In fact, he had never mentioned it again to either of them. The way he made her feel when they were together up on deck, or sitting together in the main saloon, was nothing short of fabulous. He treated her as an equal and the only time he treated her like they were a man and woman was right here in the bedroom, which was fine with her. Yes, she was in love and it felt wonderful.

Later, when they approached Lonnie and Brittany, they were seated together at the aft conn, Lonnie had turned the autopilot off and was steering himself, and they were smiling at the lovers with knowing looks on their faces. It looked like Lonnie had his sea legs under him once more and was loving this.

Pete noticed that the wind had dropped off somewhat, right now they were making about ten knots. The breeze was coming from directly behind them. However, the storm Pete had hoped to use never materialized, but even at ten knots they were making good time. Lonnie said, “Too bad you can’t take all that energy that the two of you seem to have and channel it into these sails and move us along a little faster.”

Connie’s face reddened a little as Pete said, “You’re the brains of this outfit. If you come up with a way to do it, I’m sure Connie and I would be more than willing to contribute our services to that endeavor.”

Now Connie’s face was red clear down to the top of her halter. She quickly took a seat next to Brittany and looked to sea. Brittany said, just loud enough for Connie to hear, “Men are such pigs sometime, but we love them anyway, don’t we?”

Turning her eyes to Brittany, Connie said, “Yes.”

“Where are we?” Pete asked.

“We’re about three hundred miles due east of the Columbia River’s mouth. I checked it when I heard the water pump cut in. I knew you’d want to know.”

This caused Connie’s face to redden again as she remembered their shower and the drying of each other’s bodies. It had been fun and erotic, but having others know what they were doing, well it was sort of private in her books, though she was getting better at opening up and letting her womanhood show through.

They had been to sea for two full days and two nights. Pete looked at his watch, it was a little after six in the evening so this would make their third night. After that first night, Pete and Connie stayed up while it was dark and ran the boat themselves leaving Lonnie, Brittany and Penny to sail her during the daylight hours. Brittany didn’t do much sailing, but she kept a tight galley and spent a lot of hours with Lonnie as he steered the boat instead of the autopilot.

Penny was another problem though. With no one to play with, she’d taken to spending a lot of time either reading or sitting up near the bowsprit watching the sea. Twice now she’d spotted whales and there was always the occasional dolphin to watch, but that was it for her. Whenever possible either Brittany or Connie would approach her and spend time with her, but even they knew it wasn’t the same as having a man with her and it was starting to show.

Below, in the dining area, Connie and Pete were eating their breakfast before relieving Lonnie at six this evening. After setting their food on the table, Brittany had gone topside to join her husband. Connie asked, “What can we do for Penny? She’s lonely.”

“You want to invite her to join us the next time we’re together?” he said and instantly wished he hadn’t when Connie elbowed him hard in the ribs.
