Chapter I
Today is a beautiful day. Chilly and rainfall. What a day! Just after breakfast when my 2 grandsons are talking to each other. This is what they are arguing about,
‘Do you know there is rain outside?’
‘Of course. I do.’
‘It is thunderstorm, is it not?’
‘If you walk out of the door. You are in real trouble.’
‘Why is?’
‘Why not?’
‘Reasons?’
‘There are rain droplets on your head.’
‘I don’t mind, actually.’
‘Really?’
‘Yes. Absolutely!’
‘Why then?’
‘I put on a cap.’
‘I see!’
‘You see now?’
‘But there are drops on the cap, aren’t they?’
‘Maybe yes.’
‘You are in real trouble, then.’
‘No.’
‘No?’
‘Do you know the amount of rain on my cap at that time?’
‘Around 200 water drops.’
‘How do you know?’
‘I count it.’
‘You What?’
‘Honestly, they are on your cap, are they not?’
‘No!’
‘Where are they?’
‘They fall to my shoulders.’
‘Before they are falling. There are 200 in total amount. Exactly!’
‘They are water.’
‘I am capable to count the total amount.’
‘What means?’
‘By all means!’
‘Are you Keating?’
‘Absolutely NOT!’
‘Boys. What are you talking about?’
‘Astronomy. Grandpa.’
‘What astronomy?’
‘Rain from the sky!’
‘Yes. Atmosphere!’
‘Why there is rain, boys.’
‘From Heaven!’
‘Not Hell?’
‘What the hell are you talking about, Grandpa?’
‘Gosh!’
‘Guys, ready for lunch. Quick or no lunch!’
We are having our lunch. Prudence suggests a picnic with my Mum. I am saying Mum is 103 years old. She may be not willing to go. Prudence says Grandma is much-more-stronger than all other ladies of her own age. She is capable. Then decided after Mum nods her head.
Only a couple of minutes after this stupid discussion. Larsen and Prudence are hurrying to a Police Station for a new case. What case? Cage? Cage fight?
When they return. I serve them the dinner. They talk to each other which is quiet enough not other guys will listen in their ears but myself. My God!
They are talking on a case of an old man dies suddenly. Meanwhile the doctor in charge says the man should not be dead at that time but do not know why. Therefore, biopsy is underway. There is nothing unusual on the death reason. All body structures are good. Seems strong enough to ask for fight/flight. Why then? It is for them to find out. God knows! Do you know? No, I don’t!
On picnic day where we are in a BBQ Galaxy XXV Park. It is a lovely day. Sunshine with occasional shower from weather broadcast. Thus, we find a shelter before the rain to settle down. There is a sitting place with high roof. Outlook is a grassland and trees and birds flying over the sky and on the green grass turning to yellow as winter in on its way. Do not lose your way!
Before raining where the small kids are playing as crazy as they can. Running here and there screaming and uttering any word comes to their mind. This includes course languages and devil talks as “I will send you to Hell with my Godfather’s magical power.’
‘Who is your Godfather?’
‘Jesus Christ!’
‘God!’
‘God’s sake!’
‘After I come up again. I will post you to an island where nothing there for anything. Such that you will die with starvation and under chilly weather condition.’
‘Can you do that?’
‘I have learned the way to fly over mountains and high buildings in metropolitan area. What do you think?’
‘I think of nothing!’
‘Dawn it!’
‘Fun you!’
‘Get you ship!’
‘I will!’
Oh! What a jokey fun. What are they really arguing about? Are they saying cunning gags or practical jokes? Ask them yourself! I have no idea! Absolutely nothing in my mind! Not anything.
For Mum. She is eating BBQ Pork and Chicken wings and drumsticks together with ice cream and takes in sweets and chocolates. She is having a beautiful day!
Larsen and I both of us are sitting face to face on the seats without sunshine on a chilly environment but retain perfect silence. Not a single word uttered by any one of us. It seems look like we are strangers who never met before. What can we marry? By chance, luck or coincident? Who knows? It is she who understands but not to say a word. Are you not? This is not a question, honestly!
When shower comes. All of us are in shower. Mum is strong enough not to catch a cold. The kids who are weaker. Three of the kids catch a flu. The older children who are kissing and cuddling the thighs and each other’s body parts are all astonished by this sudden shower that comes abruptly.
Back home where no one is capable to eat dinner. Thus, we all have a cup of soup and take a rest. Meanwhile Mum is back to her bedroom to fall asleep soundly without snoozing.
Larsen and Prudence are talking their own business again and repeatedly. Therefore, I have no options but go to sleep by myself. A lonely boy! Not bubble boy!
Since the inspector is explaining. The old man called Eric Smith is 74 years old. Eric has a bone marrow problem for 10 years. The condition is going from good to bad to worse and return to good except few disturbances. The weakness is not clearly understandable by current medical knowledge. Thus, nothing can cure him better except a prescription on severe condition such as body pain and chronic sore on limbs.
