Along the way, we meet interesting angelic beings such as Abaddon, the Scorpion King; Cledis and Buckus, the two hilarious Angels of Old; Clyubis, the faithful Guardian Angel; and Lucifer’s three best friends, Mam, Mucer, and Moch. You will be moved to tears at the grand finale between Satan and Father God. PREFACE
When I began writing A Revelation Story , it was going to be a fictional work about guardian angels. For this reason, the beginning of the book has a lot to do with guardian angels. As it turns out, God had other plans and took me in a different direction from my original thoughts. I began to be drawn to the book of Revelation, and a strong desire sprang up within me to explain how this ancient book could unfold in terms of modern day-to-day life and what that might look like in both the physical and spiritual realms. Although this book contains many biblical truths, it is a make-believe story, and I took a lot of artistic liberty to give biblical characters backstories that seem both logical and scriptural while giving the story added interest. The reader should not take this license as truth. A Revelation Story is the first of two books that I have written. In my second book, A Revelation Story Revealed , I take the reader on a line-by-line journey through the book of Revelation and explain some of the things written in this first book and why I wrote them as I did. I also present twenty-eight microstudies on various biblical topics that are found in the Revelation story drama that I believe readers will find of interest. I grew up the son of a Baptist preacher, which has served me well in the writing of these books, as I have been exposed to the Old and New Testament teachings my whole life. Toward the end of completing this project, the Holy Spirit told me these two books will be used to declare we are in the last generation before the coming of the Lord. As you read this book, keep in mind it is not a doctrinal thesis, but a fantasy tale based on truth. The desire of my heart is simple: to spread the word about Jesus and His gospel plan of salvation. I feel called of the Lord to do this work, and my two books are an attempt at being obedient to this call. It’s my earnest desire that God will use these words I’ve written to bring to light many truths held within God’s Word. You’ll find this book is formatted as a hybrid between a screenplay and a novel, which I jokingly call a “scrovel.” As I received inspiration from the Lord to write the story, I saw it on the screen of my mind as a movie, so I wrote it as I “saw” it. My ultimate dream is that it might one day be produced as a one- or two- season miniseries. The first three chapters are a little slow, but I promise that if you stick around through chapter 4, you will be hooked. Lastly, I rate this story PG-13 by my own accord. Book 2, A Revelation Story Revealed, is a bible study.

A Word from the Cover’s Illustrator
My name is Cynthia Robertson, and I have been an airbrush murals artist and illustrator for over 20 years. I have retired from painting murals and wanted to concentrate on the illustration side. I feel moved to illustrate scriptures in a way so people can understand the word better. I was praying and asking the Lord if there was something I could do for Him. Three days later T.R. asked me if I would be interested in sketching out a book cover. When I found out it was about the book of Revelation, I felt a leap in my spirit. I knew it was something I should do.
After putting together a sketch and making some changes, my sister told me that pencil doesn’t copy well. I started praying about how to do this and I had a dream. When I woke up, I could see it in my mind. Brown tones, charcoal, highlights, so I changed my approach and it all started coming together.
My next struggle was with Jesus on the throne. I mean, no one knows what that looks like. I went into my prayer closet and began to ask for help. I felt a peace come over me and an idea of what it could look like. I began to search different pictures and got inspired about what I could do. Once I got that portion the way I wanted, everything else began to fall into place.
There are several hidden symbols in the vine and thorns, which were fun to do, and challenging at the same time.
On the Vine side (God’s favor side):
Starting on the top left side of the illustration, there is a cross on a leaf. Down a little are the ten commandments, next to the border in the leaves, and even with the top of the dove’s wings. The ark of the covenant is to the left of the veil Jesus is tearing apart. Just below the commandments is a “777” in the vines. Below this, in the leaves, is the ark dove. To the right of that is the Ichthys and a single ark above the Ichthys and to the left of the Star of David rivet. Below the ark dove is a sword and shield, and below the sword to the right is an altar made of round stones just behind the leaves. A Star of David is in the bottom left corner, right above the grapes, in between the leaves. Then there is the lamb behind the crown of thorns.
On the Thorn side (Out of God’s favor side):
Continuing the previous counterclockwise motion, at the bottom next to the lamb is a goat. Below that to the right at the bottom is 666. Above that in the thorns and next to the right border is a pentagram with a demon’s face inside. To the left near the center of the book and just under the bottom rivet with a pentagram is the witches’ goat, Baphomet. Over to the right in the thorns is a snake that looks like a backwards letter S. To the right of that, down a little is the Wiccan symbol. Just above the snake’s head are bats flying, and actually the snake’s head is also a bat. There is another bat over the nose of the wolf a little farther up. Above the wolf is a pagan cross, and above that in the thorns is a spiderweb. Lastly, to the right of the web are moon phases in Satanic form.
Illustrating this cover took a lot of time and detail, but it was a fun project and I feel it honors the Lord. I feel very blessed to have been chosen to be a part of this incredible story. I know the Lord will use this book to touch many lives now and, in the future to come.
