Description

Jawane, Hanlee, and Persha stepped off the saucers lift onto planet Earth. They were terrified! There was no ceramic bubble to protect them from the cosmo here. There was no turning back. They saw Emily waving from a stand of trees. Due to environmental concerns the future of the Earth looked grim. The Andrians calculated that the ability of the Earth to sustain life as we know it to be 500 years. They also believed that the introduction of the Human-Andrian Hybrids and their resultant offspring should help resolve the debilitating issues plaguing the Earth. With the Hybrids in place on the Earth, The Council of Yield, the Andrians governing body, approved the exchange program. Jawane, Hanlee, and Persha were the first of many Andrians to experience life on Earth; thus, the Assimilation began. There were also military and scientific exchanges made, all in secret not to upset the populous. The Andrians were very much aware of their own advanced intellectual abilities over the Humans. However, they were surprised with the Human’s cunning and ability to deceive their traitorous military personnel. The Human-Andrian Hybrids only accented this trait; And even more disturbing to the Andrians was the discovery of a chemical molecule in the brains of Humans which the Andrians did not have. It appeared that this chemical matrix of molecules was required for their next level of exponential mental growth. The abundant appearance of this molecular chemical matrix in Human-Andrian Hybrids seems to be an introduction to the new evolution of specie development. It was postulated by some scientist that the ability to access full cerebral capacity would continue until the new specie could use 100% of their mental capacities. However, none of this mattered to 12 year old, Sara, who went aboard an intergalactic carrier to accompany her friend, Muscula, one of the few of her species saved from extinction by Emily. Being in three months of decontamination was required, but she woke up at age 21. Sara had to come to terms of being an adult with a 12 year old mind. She had a lot of learning to accomplish as she was a Protector in the Military Space Corps. Not only that, but a deadly enemy was coming to destroy the Earth. They must all work together to prevent this from happening. UAP, Unidentified Aerial Phenonmenom

CHAPTER 1
ANTICIPATION
Blain gathered the three children into the control room before entering the saucer to help encourage them in their new assignment. Jawane and Hanlee were excited and wanted to go even though they were afraid; the only reason they were willing to go was because they knew Emily and trusted her with their lives. And, truth be known, they had developed a new kind of love for her that was foreign to their Andrian species.
Persha was of a different mindset altogether. She did not want to go. She wanted to join the Andrian military forces and fight the "things", or life form, or whatever they were that had destroyed her parents. So many Andrians have been destroyed, including three fully populated solar systems. Not one life form had been spared on the planets and the six intergalactic carriers that were defending them. All personnel on board had been vaporized with a new kind of weapon. The last place she wanted to be was on the earth. The Humans were so, so…, stupid!
Blain said, "Remember to do what Emily says. She loves you in the earthly way Humans love and she will not allow anything to happen to you. And Persha, I believe that at this time, this assignment will be in your best interest and to the best interest for the "Council of Yield". They are depending on you to help channel and direct other young Andrians that will be following soon.
Persha acknowledged Blains word of admonition by indicating she was the lessor and he the greater, but he knew she was not pleased. Blain also knew that with the devastating loss of her parents, as she was one of the few, who had known no other, being with Emily was the best thing for her. Emily would help her heal.
All four boarded the saucer and left the intergalactic ship. Since the enemy had been discovered on Saturn’s moon, Iapetus, all craft leaving the carrier had a small contingent of military. The saucer quickly located the proper coordinates, and hovered in the landing position.
Blain and Persha exited the craft first. Persha stayed close to Blain as they moved to the side. Jawane and Hanlee huddled close as they stepped off the lift next. All three children were terrified and had second thoughts about the great adventures they might have on a planet.
Everything was green. There were things called birds flying everywhere, some of them making a grating noise. A wind was blowing softly, and the smell, it was unlike anything they had ever sensed before. It was very pleasant. And the sun, it was so bright and hot but for some reason, the air was somewhat cool. It was also disconcerting not to have a ceramic glass or cover protecting them from the cosmos. Looking around they did not see any barriers whatsoever separating them from their surroundings. It looked like they could walk forever! Then they saw Emily standing near the trees with her hand vigorously waving.
CHAPTER 2
NEW ARRIVALS
Emily, Skip and Billy had just put away the dishes from the morning breakfast; Warren had gone to work at the Forrest Service Terminal in the small town twenty miles away. After Emily had convinced him of the dire nature of the environment, Warren had switched his interest from mathematics to the chemical analysis of the soil and air. He had already been instrumental in developing several new analytical systems to define standards and quality of various environmental issues. Emily believed he was progressing in his mental health steadily although be it somewhat slowly. Working in a forest that was richly oxygenated enhanced the healing process and helped clear his head and enabled him to think clearly. Indeed, he was steadily regaining his old self confidence again.
Emily looked over at Skip and Billy who were working on the new mathematical puzzle that Emily had given them. It was the strangest thing they had ever seen. The math did not formulate in a linear line but instead entwined in a helix fashion. Emily was pleased with their progress. They had already solved two of the major theorems.
"They are already much more knowledgeable than Dr. Calander, that stuffy ole wind bag!" Just the thought of her pompous former physics professor made her shiver. Oh well, she had heard he had been dressed down quiet sternly by Admiral Cleary.
"Okay boys, I am going for a walk. I will be back soon. I want you to listen for the phone." Emily left the house out the back door and proceeded up the path that led to a wooded area that opened into a meadow about one mile away.
Skip and Billy looked at one another and simultaneously got up and left out the back door careful not to slam the screen. They followed Emily at a discreet distance using the foliage to conceal their presence.
"Where do you think she is going Skip? She has been acting like she believed someone was going to arrive at any moment."
"I do not know Billy but we need to stay out of sight, we do not want her to think we are spying on her. But I guess we are. I feel bad about that but she has been acting so strangely since she returned I just cannot help but wonder what she is up to. I mean, where on earth did she come up with those math equations? I am amazed we can figure them out!"
"Me too!", Exclaimed Billy."
Emily knew the boys were following and was pleased that they were concerned about her. Had she not been able to read their minds and listen in on their conversation and thoughts, she never would have known they were there. They were progressing in their knowledge of spherical mathematics at a phenomenal rate. "Ha, they would put Dr. Pompous to shame!" Emily laughed. She would give them a chance to learn the truth, they have always been trustworthy.
CHAPTER 3
THE MEETING
As Emily exited the shaded path into the clearing she observed the saucer hovering in the center of the glen. Blain was flanked by his two children, Jawane and Hanlee. They both had grown several inches since she had last seen them. There was also a young Andrian woman who was about seventeen or eighteen. She had not yet met the young woman but she was advised her name was Persha. Persha’s parental unit had been killed by the alien species in a distant galaxy.
As Emily approached the saucer, Blain telepathically communicated to her that two young boys were hiding behind the bushes observing them. Emily replied that she was aware of their presence and that it was okay.
As Emily approached the group she greeted them first in Andrian, the lesser to the greater, and then telepathically advised, "Now that you are on the earth you must learn to act Human!" Emily first reached up and put her arms around Blain’s neck and pulled him down toward her. Leaning into Blain and pressing her body into his she gave him a soft kiss on the lips teasing him with her tongue. Releasing Blain she said laughingly, "Why Blain I do believe you are blushing! Welcome to my home!"
Blain, caught unawares, was indeed blushing. His lip
