Description

Princess Valeria doesn't want the throne,

yet she's got a crucial decision to make.

The fate of the entire world is in her hands . . .

Evemore is humanity's last realm of light and justice.

The place where all your dreams come true.

A unified Nordic kingdom protected by Knights

who are willing to give their own lives

for those who can’t defend themselves.

If it falls, our world will be lashed by tyranny.

Enemies from in and out of our sacred walls

are now conspiring to sit on the throne

and enslave our world with their revolution.

Meanwhile, more and more escape their barbaric Badlands,

swarming the edges of our realm.

Among them, Ian the Red, a slave, has dared to break free

to pursue his dream of becoming a knight.

OUR STORY

Valeria’s Diary
February 15th, 35 AE
(After Evemore’s inception)
Dear Diary,
It’s been a while since the last time I wrote. Today, I’m telling the story of who we are, the story of my Evemore.
Have you ever dreamed of a kingdom of goodness and light, everlasting peace and happiness? Where chivalrous and honourable knights dedicate their lives to protect those who can’t protect themselves and bring freedom and justice to us all? Where green meadows and icy mountains meet clear streams and scenic beaches? That place exists. Its name is Evemore.
You must wonder how we got here, how we became the greatest realm to ever rule the world. A mix of different cultures that can live peacefully and safely together inside our citadels and castles.
Too perfect to be true? Think again. Evemore didn’t just happen. Like all good things, it was built through time, effort, dreams, love, and will!
Once upon a time after the Grand Collapse, the Psidier War, and mortal pandemic diseases came the Age of Woe: A dark age that preceded our era and lasted for centuries. An age terrorised by mighty psidiers who turned our world into Badlands, raiding and torturing the weak. Demanding for a weekly quota or else.
At that time, we were nothing but small villagers scattered throughout Bavarian and Teutonic lands, mere servants at the mercy of their masters.
But one day, a wanderer came from the Temple of Light in Jadelands. He was simply passing by when he brought his knowledge in the arts of kel – elemental magic! He saved our people and our village with his mysterious enchantments. Challenging those raiders, all by himself in a deadly confrontation. He prevailed, forsaking them from our lands forever.
It seemed our goddess Eve, who you might know as Gaia or Mother Earth, had finally heard our prayers and led the Wanderer towards us.
After that encounter and seizing the historical moment, my grandfather Valan Valentine, the leader of our Bavarian village at the time, offered the Wanderer anything he wanted as long as he became our protector. He accepted, becoming Valan’s best friend. Together they transformed those once oppressed villages into the majestic citadels we know today.
In the process, my grandfather became king and the Wanderer our first knight and the knight of light . But he wasn’t just that, the outlander was also a gift foreseer . . .
King Valan was certain that one day the Wanderer will be gone and with him his arts of kel. So in order to maintain and guarantee the defence of our realm, the Wanderer was to guide and mentor the next generation, those capable of developing the arts.
He roamed around and beyond, and when he found them, he nurtured them into the very best versions of themselves. Into marvels of our time, set to train extensively with the sole principle of becoming the defenders of those who can’t defend themselves. Since then, we called them the Marvellous Ten . Our knights in shining armour. Lords of our citadels. Thanks to them, peace and freedom have ruled Evelands for decades.
Today, Evemore stands as the greatest realm of light the world has ever seen. However, our diviner Marlina, the last of the gypsies, once warned me while reading my fortune that a storm was coming. Because the more majestic Evemore gets, the more those Forsaken masters desire it. And they will never stop until they claim full control of our bountiful lands.
She also said that a ghost from the past will come one day to claim his rightful throne. And when time is due, the true King of All Fairies will inevitably meet with his destiny. Or whatever that means!
Anyways, I’m very confident Erik and our invincible lords are more than capable of defeating all odds.
PS: Marlina also mentioned that one day an incredible man will bring endless love to my life and I will enjoy my happily ever after . . .
Princess Valeria Valentine
EVEMORE

A New Start
S itting on the same spot he always sat, over the same rusty shed containers stacked on that wrecked pier, Ian stares at the endless ocean, musing and daydreaming. Evemore is in his mind. The land of freedom. He can’t stop imagining what life would be like if he was living there instead. It’s all he can think of while beholding liberty into the endless ocean and clear blue sky. He does it as a distraction to disconnect, to escape from the pain and horrors of Redlands.
Nothing but a slave, Ian has lived his whole life in Redlands, working in depots, warehouses and transport. Grinding all day to barely have something to eat. Mere leftovers from his master Nomar Cerberus, the master of corsarios (assassins).
Believe it or not, his life is way better than those without a master. Those considered challenged, weak, and worthless starve to death or have to sink their head into the rubbish to find something to eat. It might sound hard to believe, but it’s true. It’s all true! A daily reality on any Badlands – especially in Redlands.
Fortunately, it all ends today. Redlands is joining the Coalition of Forsaken on a massive invasion against Evemore. A stolen Evelander hovercraft with supplies will take off in just a few hours, and Ian is planning to be in it!
His excitement is evident, though it must be hidden. If his master or any corsario has the slightest suspicion that he is planning to sneak out, they would shoot the vessel down at once. Because they know what we all know, Ian, just like any other Red, would do anything, anything to escape from hell – Redlands. After that, he is planning to immediately ask for asylum inside Evemore and stay there no matter what!
The day Ian has been waiting for his entire life has finally arrived, and nothing will stop him. He has been longing for this day for far too long. He’s actually lucky he’s been protected by Irina the Drekvona, who has been like a mother to him. Born in the frozen steppes of Drekvia, Irina secretly taught him the Evelander language and culture, narrating the sagas and tales of Evemore: “A bountiful land where light and justice prevail. Scenic evergreen meadows, Sir Erik Balthazar valiantly defends!”
Ian keeps daydreaming, staring at the sea when Irina calls. “Ian, help me with this!” Looking back with his gorgeous hazel eyes, the tall, lanky, and pale slave sighs. H
