My name is Overlord, former leader of the Seven Deadly Sins, I had but one goal. The eradication of Almighty God and the protection of the demonic human race, his creations, from being purged by his unholy hands. With him dead and gone, it was time to lay down my pen and finally claim my pretty death through battle. Little did I know, would a human named Charlotte come knocking at my door informing me that all of the males of Green Leaf High suffered from heart attacks. This investigation was supposed to be my last but little did I know that this simple meeting would unleash the dominoes to my evolution. I would now have to face down a man that I thought was dead and feel the calling of my fifth homunculus.

About the Author
Zane likes to create worlds and think of many different scenarios, even about his life. One would think that’s regret, and they might be right, but he calls it his sane madness! Although in a perfect world, his family’s cats would love and adore him, but that only happens when he gives them food. Besides the madness, he likes to play video games and listen to music.
Although he may sound lively and energetic, he’s not, he’s quite melancholic which apparently runs in the family. He thought cynicism was his own, but no, he takes after his mother in more ways than one but he doesn’t have her attitude for speaking her mind, constantly.
Enjoy stepping into his world, but please be warned that while he doesn’t have a constant point of view, he is free to speak without speaking!

Prologue

The Defence of Earth
“Now, my angels!” Satan and the other demons looked towards the blinding light. “Destroy this filth of mine!” he barked.
The angels bowed before God and turned their attention to their enemy. “Michael?” enquired God. The archangel bowed, with his head facing the ground. “The sinners, they’re defeated?” Michael rose and looked to the battle below.
“Yes, my Holy Father, no one survived.” As Michael heard God laugh, he looked away. “Permission to join the fight?” he asked. God agreed and Michael charged away to help his comrades.
“Lucius!” The red-headed man looked at Satan. “Deal with Michael and allow the Fourteenth Legion room to charge!” Lucius summoned his shield and sword and charged towards his target. “Now that phase one is complete, phase two will be like taking candy from a baby,” Satan grinned to himself as Lucius and Michael locked swords.
“Oh, this is beautiful!” Everyone stopped as they saw the sky rip open. “If it’s going to be a holy war, then allow the fallen angels a chance to fight!” God and Satan glared at the five-winged man with rage. “I, Azazel, will grant my kind a place in this pathetic hierarchy,” he said, defiantly.
“Don’t hesitate, Lucius!” When Michael went for the killing blow, he was blocked by his enemy’s shield.
“Damn you!” Lucius pushed him back and cut Michael’s gut, causing blood to pour out. “I hate you, angels,” he spat. Michael managed to block an oncoming attack. “Condemning humans for their mistakes, their sexual preferences and for standing up for themselves!” Lucius lifted his shield, causing Michael’s sword to flail in the air. “You make me sick!” Lucius shouted. He impaled Michael’s heart and cut his head off. “Fall into darkness, archangel!”
“Come at me!” teased Azazel, blocking three magical bombs and grinning. “It’s a shame we can’t all work together!” He aimed his fingers and shot black beams into the heads of his enemies. “Such a damn shame.”
As the battle continued to engulf the skies of earth, the angels, the fallen angels and the demons were neck and neck, with no sign of a victor. “This battle is taking too long!” God roared. “I will condemn you all if you don’t grant your creator this victory!” The angels did as they were told to do and this pleased God. “Now that failure, Michael is defeated,” God grinned to himself, under his helmet.
Azazel grinned as he saw Lucius coming for him. “Oh, no, allow me!” he laughed. Azazel stretched his hands out and two gear symbols appeared. “Sacred Gear,” he said. Lucius raised an eyebrow.
“Fallen dragon!” As a black orb appeared around Azazel, Lucius watched in awe. “What on earth is a Sacred Gear?” he asked incredulously.
“What is it, you ask?” laughed Azazel. Lucius readied his shield. “It is the source of true power!” Azazel shot twelve dragon bombs, causing Lucius to go on the defensive.
Satan watched as his general fled from the fallen angel king and this angered him. “Damn that boy!” Satan shook his head. As he was lost in thought, three angels and two fallen angels took the opportunity to strike. “I don’t think so, scum!” shouted Satan, grabbing one angel and biting his head off. “What is this? Running away!?” He raised his trident and shot four rods, impaling their hearts. “I cannot be killed,” he said triumphantly.
God smashed his chair as he saw more angels cut down. “Gabriel, Raphael, Jophiel, Uriel, Chamuel, Raguel, come here, please!” As six tears in the sky appeared, God grinned. They bowed before their master, awaiting his order. “Now, my six archangels.” Gabriel clenched his fists, holding in his sorrow. “We must end this war, so that we may make way for the new and perfect species.” The six of them raised their wings. “Now, drown this war in your radiant light!” commanded God.
Azazel and Lucius stopped their fight as the archangels headed for them. Lucius grinned and looked to him. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend?” Azazel raised his dragon wings and smiled.
“You cocky bastard, get on.”
However, both Azazel and Lucius were to have problems with the archangels. When they struck hard, the archangels retaliated ten times harder. Azazel couldn’t take any more hits and Lucius was having trouble keeping the two of them alive.
