PROLOGUE
In a realm completely outside of Earth’s, lived a Goddess that was with unlimited strength and power. She existed outside the realm of time and space. Adorned in a black dress, the Goddess stood several feet tall. With light blue hair gracefully flowing all the way down her back, eyes that were shaded a dark purple, and a face of purity and benevolence, the Goddess exuded perfect beauty. Her body was matched to her face. The exaggeration of her curves was very evident, even with the black dress appearing to be meant for someone much larger than herself. Her anterior and posterior were greatly oversized even for a woman of her stature. Though she was sporting great features, she was not without the toned definition of someone with great strength.
The Goddess was alone, in a dark and empty realm for countless eons before she decided to create a place of residence befitting a Goddess. From the darkness, the Goddess brought her hand up and with the simple act of a snap, brought an entire realm into existence. The realm was created in her image and it was without limit for its expansiveness. As the Goddess formed the realm, she created the sky that went on forever, the ground and grass that was very soft and comforting to walk on, the deep and expansive waters that was so clear and pure that one could see the very bottom.
With the fields and oceans now created, the Goddess constructed a palace that stretched out for countless miles and raised nearly as tall into the sky, the Goddess took special care to create lavish and elegant decorations for the interior of the palace. With a simple thought and a slight wave of her hands, the hallways and rooms were made flawless in design and spectacle. Given the sheer size of the rooms alone, it was evident that they were meant for those with incredible stature and frame. For eons, the Goddess lived solely on her own in the palace with no other being to accompany her.
After several millennia, the Goddess believed it was time to create something once more. In the throne room, there she sat in the nearly dark room. The only source of light to be emitted was from her own radiance. In the silence, she brought her hand up and a faint yellow glow began to form around it. Brighter and brighter it grew as a yellow liquid resembling that of blood but with a different color secreted from the tips of her fingers.
Remaining in the air, the yellow liquid made its way further and further from the host and towards the center of the room. Keeping her hand outstretched, the Goddess spoke in a calming yet assertive voice, “From my blood, you will take shape. From my flesh, you will develop. From my will, you will rise. Now come to life, my child.” The blood began to expand and slowly take form. The form was indiscernible at first but eventually it began to take the appearance of a human figure. As it continued to form and structure, a layer of flesh covered the blood and then a layer of skin over that. The being slowly moved from a standing position to bending down on one knee and maintaining that position until the process was complete. The being then developed curves and a natural feminine figure. Her skin was tanned, compared to the Goddesses fair complexion. Her face, though lowered at the moment, showed she possessed near equal beauty as that of the Goddess.
Her stature, though still quite large, was significantly shorter than that of her creator. Her hair was a pure black color, reaching down the middle of her back, leaving enough room for her wings to grow in. Three pairs of pure white wings grew from the female’s back and stretched out several feet before curling back into a natural folded position.
The Goddess filled the room with a brighter light from her presence in order to see her work. She smiled as she brought her hand back down and placed it under her chin. With the female now born, it was time to give her a name and a purpose. “Warrior of my flesh and blood, to you I bestow the name Nadalia. You will be given the title of Valkyrie. This is the highest title that may be bestowed upon the legion of angels that you will one day take charge of and lead. You will become the fiercest and strongest warrior across the entire realm. None will be able to outmatch you, save for myself. What say you, my child?”
The angel remained as still as possible, save for her slight breathing, until she was directly addressed the question. She took a deep breath in and exhaled sharply before speaking in a rather soft and timid tone “I... thank you my Goddess and I am forever grateful for being given life and for being allowed to have such an extremely high title. I promise... I will do my best to continuously gratify you in every way possible. I —” the angel was cut off as the Goddess interjected. “I am going to stop you right there, child. Though I am your Goddess and creator, I would much rather prefer you address me as ‘Mother’ or better still ‘Momma’.”
The last part of that was stated in a rather seductive tone as the Goddess squinted her eyes as she spoke and gave a very sultry look to the angel. The Goddess rose from her throne, easily towering over the angel still kneeling in place. She made her way over to the angel and continued to speak. “We will have to work on that confidence of yours as well as hone your combat skills if you are to become my greatest warrior. Now raise your head child.”
The angel did as she was instructed, craning her neck a fair bit in order to properly look at the Goddess. Bringing a hand down and placing it on the angel’s forehead, a similar looking aura appeared on the Goddesses hand, however this time it had a light blue glow to it. A surge of energy rushed from the palm of the Goddess into the angel and it caused the angel to flinch heavily from the sudden jolt that entered her body. The unexpected feeling caused the angel to lose her breath and thus she needed to catch it once more. As she attempted to do so, she gave a puzzled look and with a raspy voice questioned, “W-What… did you just do M-Momma?”
Suddenly, the angel felt her cheeks get very warm as she said the word “momma.” She felt something that was extremely new to her: a feeling of embarrassment. “What I did was give you the ability to express emotions as well as allow you to have free will. From now on, you will be able to formulate your own thoughts and ideas instead of mindlessly doing every little thing I ask you to do. In fact, I implore you to question my words and actions should they seem out of line in any regard.”
Nadalia couldn’t fully process all of this at one time to the point it was mentally overwhelming. Still kneeling down, she needed to grasp everything that was given to her and quickly. To her it seemed like an eternity of trying to fathom this new gift, though it was merely a few seconds. Under her breath, she muttered, “Express emotions? Free will? I couldn’t possibly know what to do with these…”
The Goddess brought a hand down to the angel to be helped up onto her feet. Hesitantly, the angel took the hand and rose to her feet, barely coming up to the Goddesses midriff. As she helped the angel up, the Goddess reassured her. “In time, you will not only be able to come to grips with what I have given you but you will also be able to come to appreciate it as you will be the only angel presented with such a marvelous gift. But more on that later. For now, it’s time you get accustomed to your new home. You ready, child?”
The angel nodded and gave a she
