Early life and career Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Tyra Doyle, worked as Good's manager into [3] her teens, and her father, Leon Good, is a LAPD police officer. According to Good, her maternal grandmother is "Jewish and African, so I guess that would be considered Creole. My mother's father was Cherokee and something [3][4] else. My dad's mother's Puerto Rican and black, and his father was from Barbados." Good was raised in Canyon Country (now known as Santa Clarita), California, with her three siblings. She began her acting career around the [5] age of four. In the early stages of her career, Good started out doing work as an extra on television shows such as [5] [3] Doogie Howser, M.D.andAmenshe was thirteen, Good was cast in her first film, the 1995 hit. When Friday. Good first began to gain recognition for her performance as troubled teen Cisely Batiste in Kasi Lemmons' critically acclaimed 1997 filmEve's Bayou, which earned Good two award nominations, including her first NAACP Image Award nomination.

Career as an adult After taking on small film and television roles for the next few years, Good would begin to transition into more mature roles in the early 2000s. From 1999 to 2003, she appeared as Nina on Nickelodeon's hit showCousin Skeeter. Good later took on small roles in the films3 StrikesandHouse Party 4: Down to the Last Minute. 2003 proved to be a major year for Good, as she landed roles in the action-dramaBiker Boyzand the romantic-comedyDeliver Us from Eva, which helped her transition from child to adult actress. Good also appeared as the character Vanessa for five episodes during the third season ofMy Wife and Kids, before being replaced by Brooklyn Sudano for unknown [6] reasons. In 2004, Good starred alongside Jordana Brewster, Sara Foster, and Jill Ritchie in the action film D.E.B.S., and for her performance received a Best Actress nomination at the 2005 Black Movie Awards. Personal life [3][4] Good currently lives in Studio City, California. Although she was not raised in the church, Good considers herself to be a Christian and a very spiritual person, and has stated in numerous interviews that she will not do roles [10][11] that she feels might "disappoint God". She explained in an interview that Jesus tops her hero list and the last [12] book she read was the Bible. In early April 2012, Good became engaged to boyfriend DeVon Franklin, an executive for Columbia Pictures and a Seventh-day Adventist preacher. The two began dating in 2011 and were married on June 16, 2012, in Malibu, [13] California.

The film features a large African American ensemble cast, starring Meagan Good, Nicole Ari Parker, Tamala Jones, Kevin Hart, Kym Whitley, Luenell, Darius McCrary, Dondre Whitfield, Mike Epps, Luenell, Clifton Powell, Jill Marie Jones, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Keith Robinson (actor).

Plot The movie is about the struggles and triumphs of 4 friends as they try to figure out the direction of their lives as they approach their mid-thirties. The movie starts off with four friends, Victoria (Tamala Jones), Zenobia (Nicole Ari Parker), Cleavon (Kevin Hart), and Phil (Keith Robinson). The movie begins in the year 1983 as Victoria and Zenobia talk about their futures. Both promise they will get married and live next to each other and that their children will also be best friends like they are. The movie then jumps to the present-day. It is Zenobia's 37th birthday party and Victoria, Zenobia, Cleavon, and Phil are gathered at a table. Both Victoria and Phil are married while Zenobia and Cleavon are still single. While at the party Cleavon notices a beautiful woman. He tells Zenobia, and she then calls the girl over. Cleavon, very nervous and awkward around her, attempts to ask for her number only to fail in doing so, but discovers her name is Falinda (Meagan Good). Each of the four friends are still trying to find their way in life and love. Victoria wants to start a family with a husband who isn't interested in children, Phil is trying to balance supporting and caring for his family with a wife(Jill Marie Jones) who isn't interested in being a mother, and both Zenobia and Cleavon are still trying to find love. Most of the movie follows Cleavon trying not to reveal that he makes a living by donating sperm every week.
