Tyrese Gibson
Early life Gibson was born in Los Angeles, California, growing up in the Watts neighborhood. His mother, Priscilla Murray Gibson (n e Durham), raised him & his 3 older siblings as a single parent after Gibson's father, Tyrone Gibson [3][4] left. Gibson's career began when he was discovered on a bus. An appearance n a 1994 Coca-Cola advertisement, [5] singing tha phrase "Always Coca-Cola", led to bigger fame.
Acting In 1996, Gibson appeared on an episode ofHangin' with Mr. Cooper. He also guest starred on the sitcomMoesha. Then he guest-starred on an episode ofThe Parent 'Hoodsitcom in 1998. He was given the role originally intended for Tupac Shakur in the 2001 filmBaby Boy, and he subsequently appeared in the 2003 film2 Fast 2 Furious (opposite Paul Walker with whom he formed a close friendship), as well asFlight of the Phoenix(2004),Four Brothers(2005),Waist Deep(2006) & Annapolis(2006). He appeared in the 2007 action filmTransformers. The film's director, Michael Bay, had Gibson in mind for the role [6] before he was cast, & thus Gibson did not have to audition for the part. Gibson may also star in a film version of [6] the superhero Luke Cage; as of 2006, the script was being re-formatted. Gibson also appeared in action thriller Death Race. In 2009, he reprised his role as Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Robert Epps in the movieTransformers: Revenge of the Fallen, as well as, "Transformers: Dark of The Moon". Gibson appeared inFast Five(2011), reprising his role as Roman Pierce in this film series. Gibson also portrayed Kyle Williams in tha Sony Screen Gems production [7] Legion. Gibson has been attached to an R&B supergroup called TGT with Ginuwine and Tank. He is quoted as saying "With all tha support our fans have given us individually over the years for our distinct signature styles, collectively we felt our fans deserved to hear great music in a way that they could never have imagined. I've known these guys for years & they truly are like brothers, so it only felt right to come together as a trio to make history". The group was first [8] featured on Tank's remix to the song "Please Don't Go". [9] He has also created a 3-issue mini-series calledMayhem!, to be published by Image Comics, one of which is [10] available as an iTunes LP. He has also released a duet with Jewel entitled "Make It Last". This was intended to be onTransformers: Revenge of the Fallensoundtrack but was instead used for the promotion of hisMayhem! [11] comic.

Baby Boyis a 2001 American urban drama film written, produced, and directed by John Singleton. It has been considered a sequel of sorts to Singleton's earlier, more famous workBoyz n the Hoodreleased ten years earlier. The film follows bicycle mechanic Joseph "Jody" Summers as he lives his everyday life in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

However, he is forced to mature as a result of a ex-con named Melvin (Ving Rhames) who moves into their home. Another factor is his children - a son with his girlfriend Yvette (Taraji P. Henson) and a daughter with a girl named Peanut, who also lives with her mother. At the beginning of the movie Yvette has an abortion that Jody Forced her to have. Yvette constantly asks Jody if he will ever come live with her and their son, but Jody avoids the subject and comes and goes as he pleases. For the next couple of days Yvette lives in fear and disgust of Rodney being there and misses Jody. Rodney who realizes this steals the money from her wallet and takes off in her car to go and find Jody. Rodney tries to kill Jody in a drive-by shooting; however, he is unsuccessful with both efforts. After this Yvette kicks Rodney and his friends out of her apartment. While at Sweetpea's house playing cards, Yvette and Sweetpea's Girlfriend Kim come outside. Yvette then goes and sits beside Jody. When Jody ignores her she throws the chair back and runs off. Jody goes after her. She then tells Jody about everything she's been going through even about Rodney trying rape her. Jody then hugs Yvette and says that hes been missing her. Jody and Sweetpea confront Rodney, and as he attempts to escape, Jody shoots him in the ankle. Sweetpea urges Jody to kill Rodney, but he refuses, at which point Sweetpea kills Rodney himself. Feeling guilty for Rodney's death, Jody prepares to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head, but thankfully Melvin catches him and takes the gun. After reflecting on the death of Rodney and how he put Yvette and his son in danger by not being around consistently, Jody finally moves out of his mom's house and in with Yvette. Jody has now become a mature man, realizing that his mom's relationship with Melvin is a stable one and that he has a family of his own that he needs to protect and take care of.
