Such great game has evolved with the Minecraft Pocket Edition. This is the game's mobile version initially made exclusive for Xperia PLAY for only $6.99. Developed and launched by Mojang AB back in August 16, 2011, the Minecraft Pocket Edition game was later introduced to other Android devices. The Minecraft Pocket Edition designed for iOS devices debuted shortly, courtesy of the iOS App Store, just a day before Minecraft 1.0 was launched at MineCon 2011. And finally, the Pocket Edition appeared on the shelves of Amazon Appstore on the 13th of September, 2012. After the initial iOS and Android releases, regular updates were also released in parallel, including the same added features on both platforms. Different exciting game play aspects added to the Pocket Edition during its Alpha Stage include more blocks and items, crafting, smelting, and many other game modes with the hopes of bringing the game version much closer to the PC game version.

Chapter 1 – Introduction to the World of Minecraft
Minecraft is one of today’s very popular action games where players go about gathering resources, fish, dig holes, and plant crops, while outsmarting in-game monsters along the way. This first-person game is all about the survival theme.
It is split into real-time day and night cycles. While you can gather resources (fishing, planting crops, searching for ore, etc) during the day, you could spend the night indoors building various tools or mining underground tunnels. Otherwise, you could be running around outdoors with monsters right behind you.

Chapter 2 – Development

Such great game has evolved with the Minecraft Pocket Edition. This is the game’s mobile version initially made exclusive for Xperia PLAY for only $6.99.
And finally, the Pocket Edition appeared on the shelves of Amazon Appstore on the 13 th of September, 2012.
The Pocket Edition is considered the least developed game version of Minecraft. Even with its 7 th edition already, it is still a level behind in the gaming features compared to its PC and Xbox game counterparts.
With the most recent updates, players can now go after iron, diamond, gold and even leather armor resources. Aside from that, new features that were not seen in the game’s PC version can now be exploited in Minecraft Pocket Edition, like the stone cutter – a specific crafting table designed to craft stone blocks, or fancy clouds puts more value to “Fancy Graphics.”
