FOREWORD

I am very pleased to have been asked to write the foreword for the new Greenock Morton Quiz book. Having been a supporter with a season ticket since I was 8 years old I have

seen more players playing in the blue and white of Morton

than 95% of our supporters.

The quiz book with some 800 questions will give much fun

to supporters, young and old, at the many locations that

Morton supporters meet. It will also be good to use when

travelling to away matches in supporters’ buses.

I personally look forward to studying the quiz book and brushing up on my knowledge and testing my memory recalling the players of yesteryear and even of lesser vintage. If ever a publication was a ‘must have’ for Morton supporters, surely it must be ‘The Official Greenock Morton Quiz Book’. Hopefully you will spend many enjoyable hours studying the book and pitting your wits in battle with your friends and colleagues.
