Acknowledgement
Denis Arter is no longer an active contributor to this work but should be acknowledged for his past contributions. Denis Arter created an online paper about 9001 concepts in plain English in the late 1990s. I saw it and told Denis we could create a book with the material. He reluctantly agreed. After collaboration over the next several months we self-published the work as a little pocket guide. It was titledISO Lesson Guide: Pocket Guide to Q9001,©1998. Later in 2000, this sameISO Lesson Guide became ASQ Quality Press’ first pocket guide.
