The scientific research methods are the main factor in the establishment of civilizations and the victory of the nations. It is also the first tool in adapting the challenges of the present and looking to the future.

The Research Center in Police Sharjah headquarters is considered one of the most research centers in the UAE. It looks forward to an important role in examining Social and security phenomena to ensure the continuity of development and progress.

The Center works through its studies in various aspects of social life and security cooperation and coordination with other research centers in the UAE and outside the country by providing solutions and proposals for all issues in the society.

As such, there is a large number of the scientific activities of the research center such as: Conferences, symposia, courses, seminars, lectures and Scientific research, which undoubtedly leads them to enrich the scientific and security fields in order to provide an effective framework for decision makers and provide a base Scientific research for all researchers and workers in the fields of social work.

Introduction There are various methods and approaches of scientific research that are used to observe reality, whether on the security, social or other levels, and also to identify problems and issues so as to recognize their causes for the realization of scientific thought to develop recommendations or effective solutions aimed at improving reality and addressing all obstacles that impede movement in the direction of community development.

 One of the most prominent and important scientific methods used to address the problems of the societal environment in order to enable accurate sociological analysis is the observation method or the comparative one, in which there is real coexistence and close physical presence of the people or environments to be studied and analyzed in addition to the data and information to be monitored in terms of demographic, social, economic, ideological or other factors, through which the influences or reasons that led to their undertaking of an action or performance of a specific behavior is judged whether compatible or not regarding the societal orientation, or whether it is seen as a departure from the values and customs of society and its laws, and thus poses a threat to the security and stability of society.
