Early life [6] [7] Jennifer Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles to actors John Aniston and Nancy Dow. Her father is Greek and a native of Crete. Her mother was born in New York City of Scottish-Canadian and Italian descent. Aniston has two half-brothers, John Melick, her maternal older half-brother, and Alex Aniston, her younger paternal [6] [7] [6] [7] half-brother. Television Aniston was cast in her first television role in 1990, starring as a regular on the short-lived seriesMolloyand in the [10] TV movieCamp Cucamongaalso co-starred in. The Aniston then appeared in two more failedseries, however, was quickly canceled. television comedy series,The EdgeandMuddling Through, and guest-starred onQuantum Leap,Herman's Head, [10] andBurke's Law.
