Sample Book Insights:
#1 To share your message, you must first build an audience of people who will listen to you. You can do this by focusing on a future-based cause that is bigger than yourself, and by offering your audience a new opportunity.
#2 Every great movement needs a leader. It’s easy to assume that some people are just born leaders and others aren’t, but that’s not the case. Everyone is a leader in some way, whether it’s through their own personal growth or contribution.
#3 Your superpower, which is your ability to see things that need to be changed, is a gift that you have been given. It is a skill that people will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to learn from you because you have spent so much time mastering it.
#4 You are ready to help people now. You don’t have to be the most knowledgeable person in your field, just one chapter ahead of the people you’re helping. There will always be people who are more advanced than you. That’s fine. You can learn from them.

#1

To share your message, you must first build an audience of people who will listen to you. You can do this by focusing on a future-based cause that is bigger than yourself, and by offering your audience a new opportunity.

#2

Every great movement needs a leader. It’s easy to assume that some people are just born leaders and others aren’t, but that’s not the case. Everyone is a leader in some way, whether it’s through their own personal growth or contribution.

#3

Your superpower, which is your ability to see things that need to be changed, is a gift that you have been given. It is a skill that people will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to learn from you because you have spent so much time mastering it.

#4

You are ready to help people now. You don’t have to be the most knowledgeable person in your field, just one chapter ahead of the people you’re helping. There will always be people who are more advanced than you. That’s fine. You can learn from them.

#5

To start a mass movement, you must first identify your audience - people who were just like you before you became an expert. The three core markets are health, wealth, and relationships. Inside each of these markets are multiple submarkets.

#6

To find a new niche, look at your submarket and think about what you could offer that nobody else does. You need to create a new opportunity for people, so they’ll want to dive in.

#7

You will need to be creative to carve out your own niche, but it's the key to success. You want to create a message that will complement the other players in your market, not compete with them. After you've identified your market, ask yourself if people in it would be excited about the new opportunity you're presenting.

#8

You must find a market that is both willing and able to spend money on information. For instance, you may find that some people are willing to spend money, but not able. Or some people have all the money in the world, but aren't willing to spend it on coaching.

#9

Rule #1 is to become an attractive character, and live the life your audience wishes they could live. Rule #2 is to maintain absolute certainty. It is said that in any situation, the person with the most certainty wins.

#10

The sweet spot, where you will make the most impact and earn the most money, is between the mainstream and the crazy zones. It is called the Prolific Zone. When you’re there, you’re sharing ideas that are so unique, people will notice.

#11

The fourth rule is to understand how to use persuasion. Everything you learn in both Sections Two and Three of this book is about persuasion. But before we get too deep into that, understand the core foundation of persuasion: people will do anything for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, and confirm their suspicions.

#12

To gain influence over your audience, you must first understand their dreams, then encourage them to pursue them. You must also help them accept responsibility for their mistakes, allay their fears, and confirm their suspicions.

#13

The sixth rule is to offer your clients value from their perceived relationship with you. They’ve subscribed to your list, read your blog and listened to your podcast, and they are hearing from you all the time. They want to see some sort of value in return for the time they are spending with you.
