With 365 daily thoughts, affirmations, and prompts, “Everyday Affirmations” helps you start every day with conscious, inner dialogue and optimism. An affirmation is anything you say out loud or think to yourself. We may not always realize it, but a lot of what we usually say and think is more negative than positive. The problem with negative words and thought patterns is that they determine our reality.
Negative thoughts equal negative experiences. Our words carry a vibration sent out into the world and bounced back to us; negative words emit a low vibration, which means that negative energy is always sent back to you. Our brain believes what we tell it, whether real or imagined, so why not tell it that we are who we want to be? We must re-teach our brains to think positively about ourselves and the world around us. Psychology Today writes, “After being studied extensively by social psychologists, self-affirmation has now just begun to receive attention. Repeated use of affirmations in a meditative state can help rewrite brain messages”.
By going from negative thoughts to consistent, repetitive, positive thoughts, your brain chemistry will change, and so will your life. I discovered the power of affirmations years ago and have never looked back. I am confident that when you see radical improvement in your daily life, neither will you.
