Acknowledgments
Firstly I would like to thank all my family and friends for contributing their lovely photos for my handbook. It was really nice to use people in ordinary situations to illustrate the point of the handbooks.
I would like to thank all of my uncles and aunts for showing me such support. I would also like to thank my cousins for being the gorgeous balls of energy that you are. I want to give a special thank you to my cousin Clive Coutet who taught me all of the computing stuff that I needed to know to produce these handbooks.
I would like to thank my all of housemates (past and present) who gave me the perfect environment to write this handbook. I would like to give a special thanks to Shirley Mallon for all of your advice in producing this handbook.
Finally, I would like to thank Nick Jones. You inspired me to write these books.
Preface
“Real learning is about challenge, attempting something new; being scared and excited about something at the same time and stepping outside your comfort zone.” Unknown author
So many of us go out into the big world, not quite knowing who we are and what we want and hoping that we will find the answers along the way. Some of these answers will be found in a formal education but also, along side of this, it’s a good idea to study, just for yourself. Study what you want, in your own time and to the level that you want. You will live a long life and it might be a good idea to get to know yourself well. It’s just about being a better person today than you were yesterday.
These handbooks highlight what you can do to develop yourself before making major decisions so that you make those decisions with confidence. The books delve into developing your physical health both internally and externally, developing your mind and developing your communication skills. I.e. eating well, exercising your body, exercising your mind; inspiring and being inspired by the people and the world around you. All to create qualities within you that once developed, not only stay with you and become part of your life but also enable you to transfer these skills from one activity to another.
I have put together twenty years plus of advice that has been given to me from great, positive people covering good eating to places to go. Just simple activities that you can easily incorporate into your life and improve yourself.

The handbooks:
It’s All About You
This is the main handbook covering good health and well being, and ending with some exercises.
Simply Food and Nutrition
The first spin off handbook covers what you need to make you and your body function as a person in terms of food and nutrition.
Simply Fitness and Beauty
The second spin off handbook covers keeping yourself active and your external self.
Art Appreciation
The third spin off handbook covers variations of art to inspire your mind.
Out and About
The last spin off handbook in this series. This is about getting out and about and travelling.

“No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself.” Madonna
