Hello there, and thanks for tuning into my book.
I am very nervous about this book; but you know what? I am very happy about it, because that’s what this book is all about—being happy whatever the situation. I will come to explain that later.
I was also concerned that as most books are forty to sixty thousand words long, I might not be able to pad the book out enough for people to believe that there is any value in it. But after getting to the age of sixty-nine, and having gone through what I have and having learned what I have, I can assure you that if you get the message in this book, your melancholy and sadness will dissolve. This is so damn simple: believe me, when you get it, you’ll see how simple it is.
I must take this opportunity to acknowledge the master and pragmatic spiritualist, priest, psychologist, and author Father Anthony De Mello for his masterpiece Stop Fixing Yourself , a book that has had a profound effect on me and was the catalyst for the book you’re reading now. I reiterate: Stop Fixing Yourself is a true masterpiece. Through listening to his audiobook at least five times, I got his profound message. But to be honest, Fr. De Mello didn’t uncover what I have discovered, or the technique and understanding to be able to sustain true happiness at all times.
I also have to acknowledge the true genius of a fellow named U. G. Krishnamurti, a person who is no longer with us but gained a true intellect of the highest degree. I explain his credentials a little later in the book, but a no-BS guru might be an apt description.
The book you’re about to read is not a long-winded tome, and it doesn’t need to be. But I implore you to work at getting the simple concept I have learned, because it will work for you! Once you absorb the contents of this book, you will get that this is the magic bullet—something everyone has been searching for. And you will get, as we here in Australia say, fair dinkum!
But before I get into the meat of this book, I must set out my bona fides and history.
