Definitions
Akashic Record : the record of all that has been or will be containing all potentials and possibilities (rather similar to the quantum field idea) which can be read to ascertain past lives and soul purpose.
Flashback : a spontaneous remembering of a past life. It may come out of the blue or be triggered by a place (d j vu), person or object or by touching the part of the body involved in the memory.
Higher self : the part of the soul that exists at a higher vibration and, not being so mired in the physical level of incarnation, can take an overall view of the soul s progress and which can communicate information from other lives as it knows the whole history of the soul and its overall plan for evolution.
Interlife: the holding space the soul inhabits between physical incarnations. Often initially experienced according to cultural or religious beliefs, the interlife has many dimensions and planes of experience. Not all souls are instantly reborn into a physical body. Those who are not occupy a less dense body in a space not located on earth - although it may have a similar appearance. To the soul, this space is solid and tangible. It may be called, Heaven or Hell, the Bardo, the Otherworld, the Afterlife, karmaloca, purgatory, the Summerland and so on. Healing and reframing can easily be carried out in the interlife and the soul s purpose ascertained. Souls spend an indefinite period in this space until ready to return to earth when a planning meeting takes place to prepare for the new life.
Karma: dynamic, continuous process of learning and meeting the credits and deficits of previous actions, and what is being set in motion now.
Karmic: experiences or lessons arising from or appertaining to a past incarnation. Debts, beliefs and emotions such as guilt are carried over into the present life and create dis-ease but past life credits and wisdom are available to heal these.
Karmic enmeshment: entanglement with another soul that has its roots in past lives in which karma or actions are repeated over and over again.
Life Reading: an impression of past lives and karmic causes received by a psychic when tuning into the person concerned or reading the Akashic Record.
Other lives/past lives: the previous lives that a soul has lived upon the earth and in other planes of existence.
Past life therapy: being guided to a time before birth in the present life, that is into another life, to uncover and heal the causes of problems and blockages that have arisen in the present life or to the interlife to identify soul contracts and the soul s plan for the present incarnation.
Reframing: changing the lifescript for a particular incarnation. It may entail a change of scenario, replaying it with a different outcome. It may need to be seen from a different perspective or with forgiveness or compassionate witnessing. Changing the past in this way changes the present life experience.
Reincarnation: successive lives lived in different bodies. Reincarnation postulates that someone now living, previously inhabited a different physical body and then died but the soul continued in another dimension and was (at some stage) incarnated in a new physical body.
Soul: the vessel which passes from life to life and which is a vehicle for karma or evolution and also a carrier for the eternal Spirit. The soul is capable of fragmenting and reuniting across different lifetimes.
Soul contract: an agreement willingly made in the interlife before the present incarnation that one soul would interact with another in a specific way. Or: an agreement that is carried over from a previous life or a previous interlife but which has not been reconsidered before incarnation. Soul contracts can be positive and constructive, or destructive and soul contracts that are not completed in one life may be unwittingly carried over to another.
Soul group: people with whom we have travelled throughout time, over many incarnations and interacted with in all possible combinations. Not all members of a soul group are in incarnation at one time, but those people who help us to learn the hardest lessons in life are usually members of our primary soul group - soul groups can split into sub-sets . A resonance frequency may be established between souls who have taken part in a particular soul drama so that the participants are pulled back into incarnation at approximately the same time to rework or reframe some of the outstanding karma from that life.
Soul hologram: a record from the original core soul essence pool which splits off to form individual souls and is carried by each particle of that soul essence as it enters incarnation. Each and every part of a soul hologram contains the whole and can communicate with the other parts, feeding back experience or receiving information itself.
Soul imperatives/overlays: deeply ingrained patterns or intentions laid down over many lifetimes which may have been outgrown but not shed by the soul and which compel certain behaviour no matter how much the soul may wish to override them. Such scripts are made up of all the oughts, shoulds and musts , conditional responses and expectations arising from the past, whenever that might be. Changing a soul imperative can bring about a profound level of healing.
Soulplan: the soul s intention for the present life formulated in the interlife before incarnation.
Soul purpose: the soul s intention for the present life which may be part of a greater pattern either of the soul or the soul group.
Soul retrieval: identifying and reintegrating parts of the soul that have been left in other lives or at traumatic moments in the present life.
Spirit: the eternal spark

P eople often ask me: Why is this happening? The question of why is something that is around us all the time: why am I ill? , why have I lost my job? , why did someone die so young? , why is there this war, that disaster or that tragedy? why did I meet that person and so on. It repeats again and again. People ask me because I m a karmic counsellor, someone who looks at past life patterns in the birthchart to discern the purpose and soulplan for the current incarnation - and who uses psychic far memory to read past life causes or interlife choices. In other words, I examine the credits and deficits on a soul s spiritual bank account - and how the present life is going to contribute to their growth or diminishment.
