PREFACE
The idea to write about the journey of awakening came directly from Spirit. I never before thought about writing a book, so the complete inspiration is from my spirit guides, who seem to think the information herein will help others on their own journeys to find the same things I longed for: true love, joy, power, and freedom.
The first time I received an inspiration to write was several weeks before I actually sat down and started typing. During this time, I felt a presence standing behind me, pushing on my left shoulder. Every time I felt that push, the word “Write” would pounce into my mind. At first, I ignored it as I truly thought it was nothing. What would I write about?
One day while relaxing, enjoying a cup of tea in my living room, the inspiration came on so strong it could not be ignored. I was literally pushed off the living room couch and whisked downstairs, almost floating into my computer room. With no idea or expectation about what would happen next, I sat down the morning of May 10, 2003, and started to type. My fingers moved so fast, my mind went blank, as if to get out of the way of the creative process.
The information flowed from my memory into my fingers and formed the beginning of what seemed to be a book. Three and a half hours elapsed before I realized what took place, but it felt like only twenty minutes. I stopped typing and thought about what had just occurred. The whole experience was slightly confusing. Looking at the newly typed material, it appeared to be my journey of awakening. Feelings of uncertainty were followed by questions such as, “Who me? Write a book?” The guidance was strong and certain. What was uncertain was the belief in myself.
At that moment a wave of cold energy swept over me. My body temperature dropped. I was shivering, and my bones felt cold as ice. This was not the first time the warmth of my human body vanished, and instantly I knew it was Spirit working through me, guiding the way.
Smiling with gratitude, I sank into the chair and relaxed. Feelings of inspiration and love filled my heart. “Okay … okay. I will follow along,” I blurted out to whoever was listening. Then I ran upstairs to take a steaming hot shower!
The purpose of this book is to inspire you to begin your own healing process, do the necessary Soul work, and awaken to the reason you are alive. All life experiences are excellent mirrors through which healing and evolution can occur. The human condition presents challenges that bring heartache as well as joy. But at the core, we all want the same things—love, joy, freedom, and power. These qualities can only be authentically created and shared with others when the Soul is awakened. This book presents such a mirror.
I pray this writing successfully assists humanity on its journey of awakening the Soul. The time is now, to consciously step up on the ladder of evolution, step into our divine hearts, and unify as people who help people, whose vision is to collectively create Heaven on Earth.
The information in these chapters is from a Soul perspective and will challenge the current way of thinking and being. I invite you to adopt the concepts presented herein and give yourself the gift of awakening. This book is for the meek, as they are the ones who will inherit the Earth.

INTRODUCTION
We dream of a peaceful world, one in which every living thing thrives. We dream of freedom and love and how we might create abundance for all life on our planet. Is our dream possible?
Yes! Evolution is occurring, and the call to awaken to our true natures is stronger than ever. Mysteries for the reason of our existence can now be explored through spirituality, with an understanding of who we are as Souls and what our Souls need to do while merged with human DNA.
Our lives consist of myriad experiences, some of which are pleasant, and others not. At one point or another we’re all going to experience a situation that becomes the catalyst to jolt us out of our normal, limited views of life and who we are, into a higher understanding of the Soul self and why we are here. It could be the death of a loved one, a divorce, disease, or a tragic event that occurs in a local community or the world. We wonder why these events happen. We wonder what we could have done to prevent them. Logical solutions help in limited ways but rarely provide the long-term results we yearn for in our hearts.
These circumstances are meant to wake us up. They are meant to get us to start paying attention to something greater, bigger, and more profound than our understanding of who we think we are. There is a living being within all of us longing to be known, longing to be awakened, longing to change the world. That being is created from divine essence and is your Soul. Your glorious, magnificent, loving Soul.
What would it take to befriend this divine part of you?
Human life is challenging. Most of us carry wounds from early childhood, and those wounds are compounded in adulthood. We carry hereditary patterns in the form of behaviors, addictions, and disease. We’ve not been taught about our magnificent Souls or how to co-create with a loving and powerful Universe. We’ve followed the earthly path, and it has not brought us what we year
