Acknowledgments
I would like to dedicate this book to my parents.

Dad or as I called him growing up Deed. The man is a true inspiration since I was growing up competing with the likes of Hulk Hogan and Optimus Prime. Always pushing his first born to make something of himself. Well Deed I think I did. I love and thank you.

My mom is my cornerstone. A tough Italian woman that not only knows how to cook, but the only woman I know that truly listens to me. No matter what the news good or bad she will always hear my story and somehow make me feel like I am the most important person in the world. I love and thank you.

In short I want to thank myself for creating this wonderful program. I feel that I am finally contributing back to society and inspiring many along the way. If I had to sum it up in one saying I guess it would be, "When you tell me I can't do something I will do it before you do. Inspire me and I'll inspire you."

Thank you
Jack Benza.
Prologue
Dudes listen! 90 Days Til Redemption is a trial process when you temporarily stop all the bad habits in your life, and you live without them for 90 Days. Guys don't worry, tools are provided in the beginning consisting of the Redemption Bracelet which signifies each day you are on, the journal which is used for self-reflection, the old Number 7 box which is used for the financial aspect of our journey, the mini rituals which are used for self-preservation, the calendar for the sense of completion and the It Takes 8 workout which allows any fella to gain energy and lose weight during the process.
Gentleman, in these 90 days, you test drive a new life: see what it is like to wake up sober and to have the money in your pocket instead of spending it stupidly on yourself or chicks. We start at Day One where we set up our journey for success. As the week progresses we break down how to deal with "hot spots" or times when you would want to indulge in bad habits. We learn about Mr. Angry which is a term that describes the behavior and thought process we all possess when we are no longer indulging in our bad habits. As the journey progresses we challenge the weekend warrior, which is the thought process of many dudes who want to indulge in bad habits once the weekend hits. We start to think differently and we become stronger when we start to see our own power develop. Then more tools are thrown in to the mix such as: practices pages, which are little tests and challenges we set up for ourselves which start to develop our creativity. The power of Day Dreaming and Pep Talks are used to help us visually see our progression. When you arrive at Day 30 you will start to deal with the Six Degrees of Frustration: goal blockers who are people that want you to fail, Mr. Angry returns, the mentality changes, you realize that you have your own internal clock and how to deal with things without the habits in our life. You start to impress yourself by setting up new goals that other people thought you couldn't do, for example run a 26.2 mile marathon. The Big Fear, or the reason you indulge in your bad habits, is addressed and you learn how to conquer those fears. You take the Vacation Test which proves to yourself that you don’t need to drink or smoke to have a good time.
Now the big question to answer is who do you want to be more? I admit, the life of your old self can be appealing, but the reason you did the 90 days was to find a "Happy Medium", which means you get to live a way where both of your "selves’ get what you want. In order to do that, you have to think of this as a sit down or divorce proceeding where both sides fight for what they want and in the end you come up with a strategy, which is the game plan you will follow once these 90 Days are up. Once the sit down or proceeding is over you come up with the New Normal or the way you will be living once your 90 Days is over. Once you have your strategy you finish your 90 Days with the Clean Slate theory, which is dudes, our way of clearing our minds and body from past circumstances. Finally you receive Redemption and get back that one thing you haven't had for a while, control.
Any guy who drinks, smokes, gambles, does recreational drugs, wants to lose weight, wants to make more money, find a soul mate, or even inspire themselves in any way creatively will want to do this program. This process helps men get control back in their life. Anybody can do four weeks of anything and see some results. They can do eight weeks of anything and see awesome results. Now imagine doing 13 weeks of something, a season, and seeing results every day from the first day you do it all the way up to the last day. 90 Days Til Redemption is a temporary lifestyle change or makeover that sets you up for the rest of your life. It guarantees success. Since I have done the 90 Day Til Redemption program: I have quit smoking, lost 30 pounds, saved a lot of money, my cholesterol, blood pressure and liver count all have gone down, I have gotten more work in my profession such as a contract role on Days of Our Lives and wrote an animated series, and I have considerably limited my alcohol consumption to special occasions. The Redemption Bracelet is the key to this successful program. Anybody in High School can do this. Anybody in College can do this. Anybody in the work force can do this program. Anyone who loves to act, write, dance, paint or be creative. 90 Days Til Redemption welcomes a vast audience with any affliction, but to be honest this process will tend to lean more toward the dudes.
“The Mind Set”
Whenever I feel that I am not living my life properly, I turn to 90 Days Til Redemption. It is a program I have done several times that enables me to live my life free from bad habits for 90 days. The bad habits I am referring to are what guys usually suffer from: drinking too much, spending stupidly, poor diet, not enough exercise, smoking, recreational drugs, gambling, no career choices and not being creative. These are my vices and sometimes these vices dominate my life to a point where I become depressed and lazy.
This downward spiral can continue until I literarily don’t want to wake up and live my life. This is not a way to live. I have completed my 90 Days Til Redemption program several times, and I thought I would share this last journey through the program in the hopes that you, too dudes, would benefit.
First thing I did was to do an inventory of my current bad habits. I looked at the reasons why I lived this way and I listed them.

• Drinking. Am I an alcoholic? I sometimes find myself having a drink every day. Not in the morning, but at night after work to relax. I also realized that there was always a reason to drink- whether it was a social event or a reward I thought I was entitled to. I discovered that drinking was a daily habit in my life like brushing my teeth. When I drank I became a dick: in the morning I was angry, tired and not happy.
• Spending Stupidly. When I am not trying to pursue an acting or writing career, I am a bartender. Most of the money I make comes from tips, so I always have cash in my hand. For some reason, money hates me or I hate money. I don’t save and I spend on stupid things like booze, smokes, woman, food I convince myself I need and gambling. I pay my bills when I need to pay them, and I don’t put anything away.
• Poor Diet. I eat what I want and in turn I have a belly. I wasn’t always fat. I used to be in shape. I watched what I ate. But that all changed, and I became accustomed to eating what I want when I want it. I just turned 40. Not surprisingly, my doctor says that I have high blood pressure and cholesterol and that I need to make changes.
• Not enough exercise. There are days I love to work out. Then there are days where I like to chill on the couch after a hard day’s work. There is no consistency in this. When I work out, I have an energy that enables me to go that extra mile. However in order to get that energy I need a few weeks in the gym to get there.
• Smoking when I shouldn’t be. Because I work in a bar, many of my friends and coworkers smoke around me. I only smoke when I drink. But when my drinking increases, so does my smoking. When I am in one of my downward spirals I find smoking becomes part of my day, every day.
• Recreational drugs. If somebody has a joint, I may take a puff. If I am sore from working out and someone has a Vicoden I may ask for one. But when I participate, I am completely shot the next day.
• Gambling. I love playing poker, but I suck at it. I might as well give my money to the other players before I start.
• No career actions. At times, I just feel like I am just living life and not pursuing my career toward acting. I work hard at my bartending job, and it is sometimes difficult to use that energy toward acting sometimes.
• Not being Creative. Everybody needs to be creative and inspire themselves in some way. Sometimes, I know that I don’t recharge my batteries like I should by taking an acting class or writing something. I don’t push myself. It can get to the point where I don’t even cook- and I love to cook! I know things are bad when I start ordering take-out.
