Sample Book Insights:
#1 The human energy field is a highly sensitive perceptual system that extends as far out as your outstretched arms and the full length of your body. It is both an information center and a highly sensitive perceptual system. The energy field carries emotional energy created by our internal and external experiences, and it influences the physical tissue within our bodies.
#2 Positive images and the energy of positive experiences are also held in the energy field. They are converted into matter by the brain, and emotions are stored physically in our bodies and interact with our cells and tissues.
#3 The energy that is produced from our emotional and psychological states converts into biological matter through a highly complex process. Each organ and system in the body is calibrated to absorb and process specific emotional and psychological energies.
#4 Intuitions are the result of the body’s attempt to promote its own health, and they are usually only concerned with the part of the body that is becoming weakened or diseased. They transmit only the essential information to bring the conscious mind to an awareness of the imbalance or disease.

#1

The human energy field is a highly sensitive perceptual system that extends as far out as your outstretched arms and the full length of your body. It is both an information center and a highly sensitive perceptual system. The energy field carries emotional energy created by our internal and external experiences, and it influences the physical tissue within our bodies.

#2

Positive images and the energy of positive experiences are also held in the energy field. They are converted into matter by the brain, and emotions are stored physically in our bodies and interact with our cells and tissues.

#3

The energy that is produced from our emotional and psychological states converts into biological matter through a highly complex process. Each organ and system in the body is calibrated to absorb and process specific emotional and psychological energies.

#4

Intuitions are the result of the body’s attempt to promote its own health, and they are usually only concerned with the part of the body that is becoming weakened or diseased. They transmit only the essential information to bring the conscious mind to an awareness of the imbalance or disease.

#5

When you receive an intuitive impression about yourself or the person you are reading, pay attention to whatever image comes up. Most people are looking for safe intuitions, not healthy ones, and safe insights, not healthy insights.

#6

There is no single formula for developing your intuition. Some people develop it as a result of meditation or a certain talent, while others develop it through a spiritual lifestyle.

#7

When you are reading someone, you should try to get a clear impression without any emotional energy attached to it. If you feel any emotion, the impression is contaminated. The person you are reading will often feel some emotional charge from the impression you receive.

#8

We are all living history books. Our bodies contain our histories, which are written in our cells. Our thoughts travel through our systems and generate a response. Those that carry emotional, mental, psychological, or spiritual energy produce biological responses that are then stored in our cellular memory.

#9

It can be difficult to accept that your negative emotions, such as sadness, can be the source of a serious physical illness. But it is important to realize that every part of your life – from your physical history to your relationships to every attitude, opinion, and belief you carry inside yourself – affects your biological makeup.

#10

The idea that biography becomes biology implies that we participate in the creation of illness. However, we must not abuse this truth by blaming ourselves or patients for becoming ill. People rarely choose to create an illness.

#11

The human energy system is an expression of personal power. If the patient has an internal concept of power, they will be able to generate internal energy and emotional resources, such as a belief in their self-sufficiency.

#12

The first principle, that biography becomes biology, is combined with the second principle, that personal power is necessary for health. Power is the root of the human experience, and as it does so, it communicates in a language of myth and symbol.

#13

The language of energy is the language of power. It is used to negotiate and maintain power in relationships. It is important to become aware of what gives you power, and how you can maintain it.

#14

Holistic and conventional medicine have two different attitudes toward power: active and passive. The chemical treatments of conventional medicine require no conscious participation on the part of the patient, but a holistic technique like visualization is enhanced by an active, involved patient.

#15

The mother with depression and chronic neck and back pain is an example of someone with only passive power. She feels she must acquire power from her external environment and through someone else. She does not directly express her own needs, but tolerates or manipulates unsatisfactory situations.

#16

The human energy system is symbolic of electromagnetic circuits that run through our bodies and connect us to external objects and other people. We are drawn to power objects or people, or power targets, so that we can draw their power into our system.

#17

Because healing is nonnegotiable, acquisitioners find it much more difficult to heal than people who have a sense of active power. Healing is a solo task, and acquisitioners are unable to release or detach themselves from targets that are draining their energy.

#18

Once we become aware of the source of our unhappiness, we cannot expunge that awareness. We have to make choices, and the ability to choose is an active power that is both thrilling and threatening because it makes us want to change parts of our lives that are no longer appropriate.

#19

Active power types are different from acquisitioners like Julie. They are self-motivators, and their energy circuits are attached to awareness, strength, and emotional stamina. They are able to do whatever is required to maintain the balance of body, mind, and soul.

#20

Healing requires action. It is not a passive process. We are meant to draw on our inner resources and see ourselves in new, healthy ways. We must leave behind our outmoded beliefs and behaviors, and take up our beds and walk.

#21

To begin your intuitive evaluation, focus on learning to interpret the challenges you face symbolically. Think and feel how they connect to your health. Bring attention every day to the challenges you face and how your mind and spirit respond to them.

#22

The sixth task is to simplify your requirements for healing. The requirements to heal any illness are the same: dedication and commitment.
