About the Author

At age 50 and living the life she always dreamed of, Beth realized that the one thing stopping her from really enjoying her life was a dreaded secret which she was intimidated and bullied not to reveal by her church, her mother, and her extended family.
Refusing to carry the burden of shame, guilt, and secrecy, which was not hers to carry in the first place, and armed with facts and documented evidence that was obtained only after she threatened legal action against authorities, Beth decided to purge herself of this burden and expose the church for the deceptive cult they are – saints or sinners.
Beth is currently working on her second book, The Drover’s Princess.
About the Book
Based on true events of seven children who endured the experience of being taken away from their home and placed in temporary care at St. Pettington’s Orphanage and Forster Homes, as seen through the eyes of a four to seven-year-old child.
The names of the children, the author, the church, the representatives, and the locations have been changed for legal reasons and to protect the identity of the children and their families.
Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book to my four brothers and two sisters who endured the horrific experiences that was life at St. Pettington’s Orphanage.
I would also like to dedicate this book to the forgotten children, the stolen children, the migrant children, and the orphaned children that were never reunited with their families or never lived to tell their story.
Our story will be told and we will be heard and to HELL with those who do not believe us.
It took a lot of therapy for us to realize that WE did nothing wrong, this is not OUR shame but the shame of the church and the government authorities that knowingly and willingly allowed it to happen.
We are all good, lovable, loving, wanted, worthy, and treasured human beings.
Most of all… WE ARE SURVIVORS.

Introduction
In order to understand the magnitude and power of the Church, it is necessary to give some background and history of this important entity.
The Church is also known as the largest Christian Church with more than 1.28 billion members worldwide, and is the oldest religious institution in the western world.
The Church claims to have played a prominent role in the history and development of the Western civilization headed by a hierarchy and was supposedly founded by Jesus Christ over 2017 years ago.
The Church ‘headquarters’ are in Europe. This church even has a city in its own country, with its own laws and claims to be infallible and, therefore, NOT answerable to anyone.
The Church believes itself to be the doctrine of faith and morals that it declares as definitive and infallible.
The Abbess of Humanity began with the founding abbess in Ireland. The Abbess of Humanity first came to Australia in 1846. It was dedicated to serving people who suffer from injustices related to poverty, sickness, or lack of education.
In 1905, it was urged that congregations of common origin to unite so that their capacity of the vital work of Divine Church education, as well as for other ministries would be strengthened.
The institute of The Abbess of Humanity Australia (SMA) formed in December 1981.
In 2010, the congregations were asked to relinquish their independence and come together as one new congregation. In July 2011, The Abbess of Humanity commenced the first chapter of the new congregation.
The Abbess of Humanity, (1846–2011) was responsible for the administration of St. Pettington’s Orphanage from 1919 to 1976.
The orphanage was supposedly set up to care for the ‘Forgotten Australians,’ former child migrants, and the Stolen Generation’s aboriginal children, that were stolen from their parents by government and church authorities in the hope of assimilating them (against their will) into white mainstream society.
The orphanage was later renamed St. Pettington’s Home, and, after closure of the facility, the children were then sent to the residence that was named St. Pettington Homes. This organization closed completely in 1984.
The Abbess of Humanity was also affiliated with surrounding primary schools, high schools, and boarding schools in the district and diocese.
There are 25 Divine churches in the diocese.
Before the 1970s, many of the children that were placed in care were related to poverty and family breakdown as there was almost no community or government support for families in crisis or financial need, so most of whose families could not care for them, were placed in some form of out-of-home care. However, in 1970, there was a change in Australia.
The Australian government implemented social welfare programs to assist struggling families as the private an
