“It would not be an exaggeration to say that the Qur’an is one of the most misunderstood religious texts in the English speaking world today. Day in and day out, people are bombarded with negative images of Islam everywhere they go: movies, TV, radio, and print. Whenever a sincere and open-minded individual decides to undertake the journey to study Islam beyond the politically motivated video clips and sound bytes, they usually aim to study the ultimate source of the religion: the Qur’an.
