Description

Man's heart is a divine gift from God which shall be examined upon his death. This has been
disclosed to man as far back as 3,500 BCE in the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
From literal evidence, the Chinese came from the Tower of Babel, Sumeria, present IRAQ and were monotheist. From other captivating information in the Old Testatment, and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, The Chinese are related by blood to Abraham. The Tao Te Ching confirms the closeness between the New Testament and the Tao Te Ching between their relations. And Confusius wrote the moral laws and the Chinese practise them up to this day.
My journey brought me through the ancient Chinese civilisation, Jesus Christ teachings up to the
coming of the Holy Koran with the seal of God’s prophets in 633 AD.

“Mission Accomplished. A brilliantly chronicled autobiography of a Singapore lawyer, weaned from a childhood of eye-opening brushes with religious coexistence that step by step led to his embrace of a faith which friends – and foes alike – were caught unaware by its conviction.

“Peter Pang was one of my students at the NUS Law School. He has written an interesting book on his search for God and meaning in his life. The story of how he became a Muslim is fascinating.”
Professor Tommy Koh
Professor of Law, National University of Singapore
“Mission Accomplished. A brilliantly chronicled autobiography of a Singapore lawyer, weaned from a childhood of eye-opening brushes with religious co-existence that step by step led to his embrace of a faith which friends – and foes alike – were caught unawares by its very conviction.
Well-referenced, well-documented and well-written, it is a deep, thoughtful and thoroughly impassioned account of how he grew up from a traditional Chinese home to see the light elsewhere; how his accidental introduction to the intricacies of rugby from a natural love of football formed the bedrock of his search for enlightenment: and how, on becoming a successful practitioner in the world of law, in one fateful day fell on his lap a perceptive understanding of his chosen faith.
Tracing the roots of righteousness right down from ancient texts to modern interpretations, it is a scholarly penned chronology of his life-long desire to understand why mankind exist to do the right things.
All the while. Though, he never lost sight of what was more worshipful in all its teachings. Indeed, such a journey of self discovery is fascinating to absorb. If read as earnestly as his telling of the story, the burning questions of life – and divine salvation – are answered by a man whose mission is now fully (and duly) accomplished.”

“A timely and well written introspection by Mr Peter Pang, sportsman extraordinaire, and learned senior member of the Singapore Bar, sharing with us where he came from, his childhood influences, and how Rugby as a ruffian’s game played by gentlemen, from which sport he made the lifelong friends; and his look at philosophy and religion, which have brought him to accept the Five Pillars of Islam. An essential read for those who wish to gain an insight on how multi-racial and religious Singapore play in the moulding of the modern Singapore persona!”

“In this book, Peter has provided a detailed, open and honest description of his spiritual development and journey throughout his life which eventually led to his Islamic conversion. He has also thoroughly researched in great detail the historical aspects of the main religions before arriving at a personal decision to convert to Islam later in life.
In my opinion, Peter’s corner stone messages in this book are to live by the “Golden Rule” and to utilise the pathway back to God in the after life through the teachings of the Prophets.
From my perspective, I found that the book was a catalyst in so far as it prompted me to reconsider the purpose of my own spiritual existence in this world.”

Preface
Dear Readers,
In this book, you will find God’s messages to mankind from 3,500 BCE up to 633 AD by His last prophet.
And it traces where the Chinese came from originally, and their religion before settling down in today’s mainland China.
With the discussion of the closeness of the Lao Tze’s Tao Te Ching (Book of Virtues) and the Christian Bible (Old and New Testament) and Chinese practising Confucius teachings from the Han Dynasty in the first century BCE: the Chinese with their 5,000 years of history and the wisdom of their DNA of civilisation can be seen wanting to maintain peaceful co-existence with all the other nations to continue with their economic prosperity.
You will find the Chinese DNA of civilisation in this Book.
In addition, be reminded that God saith in Surah “Al Dhariyat” 51 verse 56 (Koran)
“I have only created Jinns and men that they may serve Me.”
And God’s universal declaration is
“Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians – any who believe in Allah (God) and the Last (Judgment) Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, Verse 62 (Koran)
My best wishes to all.
