1. There will be a seven (7) year period of tribulation on the world (the Tribulation), with escalating calamities, at the end of the age.
2. Matthew 24 (the Olivet Discourse) and Revelation 6 & 7 discuss the exact same Early-Tribulation events, in the same order.
3. There will not be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Rather, there will be a Mid -Tribulation Rapture and return of Jesus after 3.5 years, to rescue the remaining Christians. Thus Christians will have to endure the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation (Early Trib), including death of 25% of the planet (~2B people) from war/anarchy, famine, disease, wild animals, and martyrdom of Christians.
4. The three main Tribulation events - Martyrdom, the Return of Jesus, and then Christians being raptured, appear in the same order everywhere in prophecy, every time.
5. Revelation repeats its description of the full 7-year Tribulation, in two pa sses .
6. The Later Tribulation ends with a massive hailstorm, and Jesus begins his Millennium reign over earth.
7. The Tribulation will likely start within 10 years, perhaps as early as 2025.

10. Israel in prophetic scripture - the actual physical descendants of the House of Israel (10 tribes), are the Christian Nations and Christian Church of today, not the present country in the middle east, which should properly be called Judea.
11. Some of the Christian Church will be protected from martyrdom during the Early Tribulation, somewhere on earth.
12. That place of Christian Tribulation refuge is the United States of America. Satan is acting through China.

15. The Beast will be an overwhelming military coalition of China, Russia, Persia/Iran, and the UK. Satan will be surprised at the last minute that he cannot control or kill the American Christians, and become enraged. Daniel’s ‘7-year’ peace treaty may be between the Beast Coalition, and the USA.
16. The Early Trib will likely occur within one US Presidential Term, and thus the timing will coincide with the US election cycle. America will need a strong leader to take her through the Early Trib. America should specifically provide for Christian refugees in their law, and make logistical preparations. Individuals should also prepare 3.5 years’ of provisions, for themselves and other Christians. Obesity may be a blessing in disguise.

INTRODUCTION
For many years now, I have had an entry on my bucket list, to try to figure out my views on the Rapture, and the return of Jesus Christ. I generally understood (from hearing many years of sermons on the topic), that there would be a 7 year Tribulation period at the end of the age, as per Daniels ‘70 th week’ of trouble set out in Daniel 9:27 (7 days represents 7 years). This will be a time of great upheaval and difficulty on earth, generally described in the book of Revelation (and elsewhere throughout the Bible). The Tribulation would start out gradually and become more intense, in what Jesus described as ‘birth pangs’ (Matthew 24:8). At the end of the 7-year Tribulation, Jesus would return to earth (often referred to as the “Second Coming of Christ”), which would be followed by a thousand year period of peace on earth, in which Christ would rule directly on earth, also known as the Millennium (Rev 20:2-7). This much I believe is pretty standard Christian doctrine, and relatively uncontentious. As an aside, I have generally tried to avoid using the term the “Second Coming” of Christ, as some use it to denote the Rapture (which actually seems to make more sense to me), and others to denote His coming right before the Millennium.
The difficulty concerns the timing of the Rapture. This is a general belief that all of the true Christians will be snatched away from the earth by Jesus, and taken up to heaven to be with God, at some point in the Tribulation, before the Millenium. Prevailing thought in most evangelical protestant churches today is that the Rapture will occur at or shortly before the beginning of the Tribulation, AKA the “Pre-Trib Rapture” doctrine. However, I was generally aware that many scholars disagreed, and were of the view that the Rapture would occur in the middle of the 7-year Tribulation, or a “Mid-Trib Rapture”, thus we Christians (I hope that I will be one of them) will still have to endure the first half of the 7 year Tribulation. To save a few trees, I will call this first half the “Early Tribulation” or just “Early Trib. ” I will refer to the second 3.5 years of the Tribulation as the “Late Tribulation” or “ Late Trib .” There is a further less commonly held view that the Rapture will not occur until the end of the Tribulation, concurrent with the Second Coming, or perhaps not even at all. Determining my view on this, in particular the timing of the Rapture, was my bucket list item.
The onslaught of the Covid-19 crisis was the impetus for me, that moved this from near the bottom to the top of my “to do” list. All of the churches in the world being closed virtually nearly overnight?! Businesses being shut down, and people losing their livelihoods, and personal freedoms being dramatically restricted? Are you kidding me? Surely this was an ominous sign of some sort. Thus I, and I suspect many others, turned to our Bibles.
Imagine you were excavating an old building site, and dug up some old newspapers. Alas, the back-hoe clipped off the top right-hand corner of each, so there were no dates on them. However, as you glanced though them, it occurred to you ‘I wonder if these are covering the same events in history, from the same time period?’. The first one was The Phoenix Herald which had a passage saying “There was fierce fighting in the war last week, and many of our local soldiers from the 103 rd Battalion were lost in a battle in Normandy. Army chaplains are currently on the way to Phoenix to meet with the families of the lost men. Many local families will be affected.”The second newspaper was USA Today, with a story that said “The war effort is proceeding slowly but favourably. Some of the US troops are advancing up into Spain with some success, however many were lost in a recent battle in Normandy. The fighting in the Pacific is continuing, but progressing slowly.”
Finally, you uncovered an issue of the Wall Street Journal, and its article read “WAR PROFITS BOOMING! Many different fronts, with heavy fighting and many losses, particularly in Spain, have led to vastly increased demand for guns, ammo, tanks, and all other war related equipment. We further have heard rumours that the British have recovered one of the German message coding machines, and are currently
