June Hunt knows two things. First, the Bible says keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Consequently, her ministry is called Hope For The Heart. She also knows that the heart receives its guidance and healing from the Word of God because Jesus said, Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. This Biblical Counseling Reference Guide is the perfect reference book, providing quick direction to speak to the heart s deepest needs.
-Dr. Paige Patterson

Managing Editor, The Believer s Study Bible
Handy and holy. June Hunt s Biblical Counseling Reference Guide provides a ministry tool that is user friendly, travels anywhere, and speaks to anyone, with words fit for any occasion. But, one warning! Don t go here in search of human insight into human problems. You won t find any. As always, June s only interest is guiding us to God s wise answers preserved for us in the Bible.

The Biblical Counseling Reference Guide is a landmark to biblical counseling. With an easy-to-use concordance format, this ideal companion for the pastor-teacher, the counselor, students, and lay leaders involved in formal and nonformal counseling illuminates God s truth for the real needs of real people in today s complex world.
-Dr. Carlot D. Celestin

June Hunt is a proven, skilled listener to the whole counsel of God for divine truth, and to the deepest spiritual and psychological needs of fellow sons and daughters of Adam. This concordance is a remarkable integration of both. My prayer is that it will be used by many-pastors, counselors, chaplains, moms and dads, and ordinary godly friends-to bring hope and help to those in need.

-Chip Ingram

By providing this reference tool to find biblical texts bearing on very personal and very contemporary problems, June Hunt makes a most needed contribution to counseling. She shows us scriptural pathways for a relationship of love and trust, which can develop over time between the one helping and the one needing help. Perhaps best of all, this concordance makes clear that all problematic behaviors come ultimately from substituting something else for the love and grace of Christ.
-Dr. Joseph (Skip) Ryan
Chancellor, Redeemer Seminary
What Dr. James Strong did for Bible students in his Exhaustive Concordance , June Hunt has now done for anyone involved in Christ-centered counseling! This volume will be a favorite for professional and lay counselors alike-and should be found in every household.
-Dr. Georg Huber

Today more than ever, people are in bondage to their negative, destructive emotions and are in deep need for the truth that will set them free. I am very thankful for June Hunt, who understands that it is the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit that changes people s lives. The Biblical Counseling Reference Guide will undoubtedly be a priceless resource for helping people break free from the lies that keep them captive and find the awesome freedom Christ created us to enjoy.

Dedication
In 1986 I founded Hope For The Heart, never imagining that it would one day reach 80-plus countries in 28 different languages. Throughout the years, the Counseling Keys have been the foundation for our every teaching, outreach, conference, and radio broadcast (we have two). The Counseling Keys represent biblical teaching on life s most pressing issues and also provide the backbone for this reference guide.
Today, our 100-topic Biblical Counseling Library is used worldwide in counseling offices, churches, universities, seminaries, and by people who simply have a heart to help others. Also, 21 Hope Centers span the globe providing biblical hope and practical help in at-risk communities that are being transformed and dozens more of these counseling outposts will be launched to spread hope to the world.
With a mixture of genuine humility and heartfelt gratitude, I dedicate The Biblical Counseling Reference Guide to our international partners and to counselors who serve to provide biblical hope and relevant help to those in need around the world.
Acknowledgments
At times this project seemed insurmountable yet because of the expert help and diligent collaboration between our Hope For The Heart team and those at Harvest House Publishers, The Biblical Counseling Reference Guide is now a reality the culmination of a monumental cooperative effort dedicated to its completion!
With so many involved in the compilation of this concordance it would truly be impossible to recount the names of everyone involved. I offer my deepest gratitude to every hand and heart who worked on the project-the resourceful researchers and writers those wh
