Description

I refused to listen, as God spoke. I was chasing the desires of the world. When I heard him, He led His lost sheep home.
In my pursuit of worldly success, I became lost in the darkness of the world. The road I was walking, God gave me signs and detours I choose to ignore. I let the enemy lead me into the dark abyss of life. Then one day, God shined a ray of hope into the darkness and brought me to a dead-end road. He led, I followed, and He brought His lost sheep home. He spoke, I listened, and I heard His voice. “He said, let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee” (Genesis 33:12). He would heal me, our home, marriage, and family. He would bless us through obedience; give me grace I did not deserve. He would teach me to have faith in Him as we walked the white rock path to cross the Great Divide to the other side. He would teach me as we journeyed to the top of the mountain in search of the lone tree atop the mountain.

DEDICATION
I would like to say a special thanks to Rosemary Daly for believing in this journey, helping proof my writing and providing spiritual encouragement. I dedicate this book to my best friend, and loving wife, Connie, my gift from God; our daughter Madison, my mom, Geraldine Frazier; and my father Robert Frazier, who told me in life there was nothing that you can’t do. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for sharing your love and appreciation for nature and God’s creation. Most of all, thanks to my loving wife for standing in the gap. Know my love grows for you every day. I am glad you are here to hold my hand as you walk this journey with me and our family step by step and never giving up. I know my life has been forever changed because of your commitment to listening to our Heavenly Father.
INTRODUCTION
This book is a wonderful journey with my Heavenly Father. A long talk as I walk with God. We began our walk down the dark staircase of my past through a white door with four panes which opened into the valley of change looking at His beauty. Trusting Him in my struggle to cross the great divide between the world of my flesh to the world God wants to show me. Seeing the mountain beyond the great divide as an uphill climb as I constantly strive to seek His presence as the lone tree on top of the mountain.
The journey will reveal the simple things will hold more meaning in life as He speaks. The clouds are the breath of His voice drifting in the sky. The water found in the depths of the lake, the rain falling from the sky showering down to fill the unknown depths of is His love. The foundation of rock provides stability under my feet. The great light by day and the lesser light by night will always shine on my path. Peace can always be found in the gentle breeze of the wind or the gale force of a hurricane. The unseen will become obvious when you truly open your eyes. Lessons to learn, thoughts to ponder, and growing in His love as we walk. This journey will reveal a newness as He remolds a new man. The storms will be real.
“Each storm will test your faith and build your trust for Me. I spoke the words you penned on the paper to write our book. I required you to concentrate on My voice, to block all the distractions of the world. This time will become exhausting requiring you to find time to gather yourself. My needs for you in our time will require all of your physical and emotional energy. My son, you have written the book of our journey. Many hours and days we have spent together for you to pen this so all those who doubt, and fear My word can see I am the truth, the way, the light, for I am, “The Great I Am.”
Today is the day God begins to heal my lost soul. I have written what God has shown me in my visions, and the inspirations He has laid on my heart. The writings and visions have forever changed my life, my relationship with my Heavenly Father, my wife, and my family. “Yet you, LORD , are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand” (Isaiah 64: 8). In this journey, God has changed me, molding me and my family by drawing us closer to Him through visions, meditation and the simple things in nature and life. God uses nature in the Bible and analogies of life to draw people to His Word. He shows us how His simple gifts can make our lives beautiful. This book is about a journey, a vision that God has shown me to see how He has used nature to bring me back from the darkness of life.
This journey began when I took over my life, set God to the side and began to make decisions that were opposite of God’s direction. I had an affair outside my marriage for the second time and found myself in a very dark place. The sinful life I was leading, caused me to put my marriage of twenty-four years on shifting sand and to lose my career of almost thirty years. As the darkness began to unravel and unfold, the light began to shine in my life. At the end of my road, I found myself in a place I never thought I would be. I was on the verge of losing my entire life. I was on the edge of a cliff trying to save everything I had worked to attain. Through God’s interventions, grace, mercy, and forgiveness, which at the time I did not know was going on, God was speaking to my wife and telling her, “You are not going anywhere. Divorce is not an option. You are going to save this marriage.”
I had my morning devotion time. I led my family in prayer. I led prayer in other venues, and played the good public Christian. I had worked hard to climb the ladder of success to make a name for myself in the field I worked. I had created a false image. The image was my flesh living in the world I created. Was God allowing me to be successful? I thought this is where God wanted me to be. Life as I knew it, life as I saw it was great. My flesh portrayed a perception of the man that God had found favor. I refused to listen, to hear God’s cry, and to see deep in my soul; I was a dark, lost, deceptive sinner. I was the sheep in wolves’ clothing. As God began to shine His light in the depth of my darkness, I had no place to turn. I had to come to a crashing reality if I was going to save my marriage, life and regain my soul, God w
