Introduction
Sometimes we feel alone and all we need to push forward, to keep going, is to know that someone feels the same way as us; someone has been through similar experiences and understands the internal struggle. Someone believes in us and truly wants to motivate us to be better, do better, feel better. This daily inspiration book is meant to help propel you through each and every day; to remind you someone has your back, and you ARE a warrior. It is shepherded by Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (NIV) The inspirations provided are meant to guide you to pursue and use love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. They are sometimes simply inspirational questions to make you think, to make you look inside and see how you can use your blessings to then bless others. I hope you feel uplifted and supported each and every day.
Acknowledgement
I would like to thank my family; my husband, Paul, who reminds me how strong I am and loves me unconditionally, who supports my every endeavor and shows our children the true meaning of a loving relationship. He is so strong, and I thank God each and every day for bringing him into my life. I want to thank my daughter, McKenna, who shows me grace and truth, friendship and loyalty, beauty and unconditional love; my son Hunter, who reminds me to laugh and see the light in this world, who shows me stubborn determination and joy for learning; and my son, Sinjin, who shows me that even when things are hard, God makes a way for us to persevere, who continues to try and grow through adversity and sees the beauty all around us. I want to thank my mom, Debbie, for always believing in me, loving me, and guiding me – even when I did not want to listen. I want to thank my grandmother, Phyllis, for making me the strong woman that I am today. I want to thank my sisters-in-law, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and every relative who has bathed me in their light. I am beyond blessed by the Prohaska and Hall matriarchs and patriarchs; blessed to have my great-grandmothers and grandmothers who were poets and shared their gifts with me. I would not be me without their light and laughter. I would like to thank my like-a-brothers and their wives for helping to build a framily better than any I know. To my best lifelong friend, Kimberly, for always being real with me and showing me the unconditional love in friendship. To my bestie and like-a-sister-in-law, Mary, who shares the most amazing light and love to everyone around her. And to those friends and coworkers who have constantly pushed me to put my inspirations in a book to share with others; especially those who have kept me sane and for reminding me about the sunshine within. You see, something made me randomly start sending out daily inspirations about five years ago. I didn’t know where this desire to share my thoughts with others came from, but I just started doing it. I even coined the term ‘Inspirationer’. It’s not a recognized person in the dictionary, but it seemed like it should be to me. I began to address my inspirations to ‘Inspirationers’ - the growing group of people who wanted to receive inspiration from me. I invited them to take in these daily motivations and share their thoughts and experiences with others whereby creating a team of Inspirationers to help others. The term has stuck, and you may see it periodically through this book. There are so many more people I need to thank, but we would be here for pages and pages. Just know that I am beyond grateful and blessed to be able to finally put these thoughts into action because of the incredible people God has placed in my life. And “to all the people who are loving and kind to me, thank you for the sunshine you bring into my life” ~ Brigitte Nicole.
Humbly yours, Amy
1 Peter 4:10-11 says: 10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (NIV)

Be the Light
When you can’t find the sunshine, BE the sunshine. ~ Unk nown
We tend to forget the joy of learning and since we set the example for future generations, it is our responsibility to put that joy at the forefront. If children witness true joy in the adults around them, they will grow up believing in and exhibiting joy for ot hers.
Stay close to people who make you feel like sunlight. ~ Unk nown
This saying always makes me take a deep breath, slow down, turn my face skyward, and think of all the good, wonderful people in my life. I hope it does the same for you.
If you cannot find the inspiration, BE the inspiration. I believe in you!
Be strong … you never know who you are inspiring. ~ Author unk nown
We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are. ~ Sirius Black, Harry Potter Book Series, J.K. Row ling
If someone made you smile simply by saying ‘hi’ or being silly or genuinely made you laugh, were they the light or the spark that awakened the light inside you? Did you then become the light for someone else, or were you the spark that awakened the light in another? Imagine how we can change the world with something this simple. No politics. No controversy. No lines. Just lighting the way for someone else.
Bring the sunshine in when you walk through the door. Many years ago, someone told me I bring the sunshine with me. I am sharing this with you in the hope that you will bring the sunshine and be someone’s light t oday.
Go out and light up this day!
I want to be like a Sunflower so that even on the hardest days I stand tall and find the sunlight; maybe even BE the sunlight for ot hers.
You’ll know the people that feed your soul because you’ll feel good after spending time with them. ~ Author unk nown
You never know who you will inspire simply by sharing your story. To you, it may seem like a boring struggle, but to someone else, seeing and hearing you go through it may just be the beacon of hope they need to go on; the inspiration they needed to know they are not alone in their journey. Share your life with others; share your story. You may find we are all more connected than you t hink.
