This book is about the death, burial, and resurrection of the author. Having learned that he must die to himself in order to fully receive the life God has reserved for him. He has a unique way of describing the events of his life in detail while simultaneously indoctrinating the testimony of his journey. He keeps you engaged unlike most books riddled with scripture though he places scripture to illuminate his point as it directly related to his experience leaving the reader to examine the scripture for themselves while being given a first-hand testimony. This book will address many factors providing insight into the many different struggles we go through as believers having undergone numerous trial himself and being brought through them by the Father, the Son and his passionate love, trust and insight of how the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in bringing everything full circle.

My childhood was spent primarily under the guidance of my grandparents from my mother’s side of the family. After all my grandparents passed away, I was just entering my teenage years. I was without a father figure as I was shaping my mindset into the man I desired to become. Many people from various backgrounds and settings shaped my early adulthood. I was on a mission to learn everything under the sun. The one thing that set me apart was my ability to learn. I could not compete with school clothes, recess snacks, and school functions, but I had God, and I clung to Him. I was poor, yet rich. I embraced learning—the good and the bad.
The military was a big part of my learning experiences. I learned about attributes I never saw in myself. This newfound character awakened my mind to believe that I could achieve anything.
I took three things from the military. First is preventive measures: how to do small things now to prevent larger things from happening later. Second is future reference: how do I take experiences from my past and use them as examples to grow, or to prevent potential future obstacles or setbacks. Third is the solution; forget the whos, what fors, and how comes, and focus on the solution.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Jesus was, and is, the first fruit; born of the flesh of the womb impregnated by the Holy Spirit; dead unto the flesh while present in the flesh, but alive to God. When we identify with his death, we become dead to sin and alive with him as he is with God. Though we will sin, these sins are not counted against us as long as we confess the specific sins, repent from them, and resubmit ourselves under his authority. God cannot die, so when we receive his spirit, we cannot die and sin cannot live in us. If sin lives in us and we do not repent, then we are no longer justified for our transgressions. It is a simple, but complex, arrangement. If we will work with Him by continually admitting our dependence upon Him and His will for our lives, then He will continue to return to us and finish His work in us.
We are no longer slaves to sin. We do not obey every little temptation or command the flesh barks out at us. If we abide in him who is the branch and are not broken off, we will partake of the fruit of the same tree which is the body. The root of the tree is God, which supplies the whole tree. When I look at the tree, I do not say, “Look at the limbs or look at the leaves.” I say, “Oh how beautiful is that tree and all its fruit.”
The life of sin and death destroys the soul (mind, will, and emotions) and weakens the spirit in humans and their bodies. The life eternal is the life identical to that which Christ lived. He set the captives free from slavery. We must let go and keep letting go.
Every branch in Me that bears fruit, He takes away; and the branch that bears fruit He prunes that it may bear more fruit. (John 15:2)
Also your people shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the works of my hand, that I may be glorified. (Isaiah 60:21)
God forgives and he is merciful. He teaches us the order of the flesh that we may see how frail we are indeed. The conscience convicts and it acquits. He plainly said to sacrifice your best and your conscience will do its part in self-justification. This is the first step in eliminating guilt and
self-blame, thus allowing the Spirit of God to fully justify us. Work with Him and He will work with you. The person acknowledges the wrong act and he or she has no need for sacrifice, just an acknowledgment that when we sin we do it against God’s divine order of things. It is considered a lesson learned, so to speak—a balancing or cleansing of the soul. We do not allow the sinful act to just sit and fester and grow in us. That leads us to more sin until we believe that it is useless and hopeless at the same time it becomes acceptable in our minds through defeat, resulting in habitual sinful behavior. The second step is to acknowledge who we are in Christ and not condemn ourselves but believe in the promise that God has told and shown us. The order is already set. We reap what we sow. His forgiveness never leaves. All of our provisions were established by the sound of his voice.
Once we admit our wrongdoing, God grants us his justification and that justification automatically enters the mind through believing in the scriptures. When sacrifice was required, the people did not have enough power on their own to overcome. Sacrificing animals became a crutch, like going to church on Sunday and continuing in sinful behavior the rest of the week. Churchgoers today depend on Sunday to hold them up. Where there is justification, sin has no bearing, and where sin has no bearing there is no death, no hell, and no devil, for those who identify with Christ’s sacrifice by sacrificing their lives also.
How shall we, who died to sin live and longer in it? Or do you know that as many of us were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we were buried with him through baptism into death…For if we have been planted together in the likeness of death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His death. (Romans 6:2–5)
But what things were gain to me, these things I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHIST JESUS my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Without him, nothing is possible and all things are possible through him. The Holy Spirit is my guide and my teacher. It is my prayer that this book will reach and help others the way it helped me when being revealed, and that all come to the unity and the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
Introduction
I grew up poor, but for the most part my childhood years were not that bad. Grandparents have a special way of making everything seem fine. My grandparents were well known, liked, and respected in the community where I grew up. My great grandmother had retired as a maid for a fairly well off family, and my grandmother was also a maid for a different family. My grandfather drove log trucks for a living. During my early elementary years, we lived in the house next door to my grandparents, so I was at their house daily. My grandparents would take up the slack for my parents. I learned that you should remember what your grandparents lived like and what they would advise you about how to live. You would do well to follow their advice simply because they have been through most everything, and discovered the most productive way to live through trial and error, as it relates to the DNA structure and character defects of our bloodline as well character strengths. There were times when I would recognize traits in my children who were not old enough to develop this as learned behavior, and
