Description

Writing this book has given me the courage to ask God to open my eyes, so I may see Him working in my life and to see myself the way He does. I am reminded when Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:17 NIV).
As I read the inspiring contents of the book of Habakkuk, particularly in chapter 2:2-3, when Habakkuk asked God to write the vision and make it plan “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for; it will certainly come
and will not delay” (NIV).
These scriptures have shed light on the vision that God laid on my heart which is to inspire women and young ladies to recognize their Glorious Crown, God placed upon them. My vision is to help women see they are the Esther and Ruth of the 21st Century. They have a calling which is unique and can only be completed by them.
We, as Christian women, have been called for a specific and special mission, and that mission is to help young girls to recognize who they are. In the book of Habakkuk when God wanted him to make it plain to His people to advance, I too, want to make it plain to women they have great value in our society.

Acknowledgements
I want to first thank God for placing this book in my spirit. Through Him, I have been given the opportunity to pour into the lives of many women who struggle with Embracing God’s love for them.
This book is a labor of love that came about as I desired to convey how we as women view ourselves through the lens of the perspective of others, and how we adopt the images others have of us without looking at the real driver behind that false image, i.e., Satan. As women we often try to please others within our circle and fail to be true to who we are and who we belong to.
It is my prayer that this self-help book will help you see the opportunity to make the adjustments that will allow you to bury the past and move into the great future God has planned for you.
First, I want to thank my husband, James. He is an amazing man, and I am truly blessed to have him in my life. His commitment and love for God and his family is reflected in his life. He is the spiritual leader of our family because he knows God comes first. He is my number one fan, and He always reminds me “with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26 KJV).
I also want to thank my three awesome children for their unwavering belief in me. I am truly proud of them and as a mother, it brings joy to my heart knowing they are committed to the Lord and their families. I cannot forget my grandchildren, they are a precious part of my life
To my siblings, I thank each of you for being an anchor in my life, words cannot express how much I love you and the great bond and unconditional love we share
My thanks to my Christian sisters for their encouraging words as God worked on me during this journey.

Introduction
Writing this book has given me the courage to ask God to open my eyes, so I may see Him working in my life and to see myself the way He does. I am reminded when Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD , so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:17 NIV).
As I read the inspiring contents of the book of Habakkuk, particularly in chapter 2:2-3, when Habakkuk asked God to write the vision and make it plain “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay” (NIV).
These scriptures have shed light on the vision that God laid on my heart which is to inspire women and young ladies to recognize their Glorious Crown, God placed upon them. My vision is to help women see they are the Esther and Ruth of the 21 st Century.
God wants us to write down our vision and make it plain, scripture states, take delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of their heart” (Psalm 37:4 NIV). As women of God, we cannot sit idle and allow our vision to be dismantled. God gave us all a vision, but it’s up to each of us to seek God for direction and clarification of the vision. I’m reminded that God had a plan for my life before my mother delivered me into this world and I desire to fulfill God’s plan for me. In Jeremiah, the scripture states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. God has a plan for us, and when we seek Him, he will reveal it” (Jeremiah 29:11-12 NIV).
It is my prayer that every woman who reads this book will be inspired to allow God to fulfill His purpose for their life; that they will be motivated to see themselves as the King’s daughters and claim their rightful position in His Kingdom. As God’s daughters, we are chosen and marked for a specific part in God’s plan for His people. We have the righteousness of God through His son Jesus Christ; we are valuable to Him and our name is engraved in His palms. The scripture states, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me (Isaiah 49:16 NIV).
As I saw with spiritual eyes, the questions in Habakkuk’s heart as he asked God how can the wicked judge Judah? It opened me to the realization that I too am concerned about the heart of God’s people. Remaining in the presence of God will help me position my prayers before God and receive His response. I believe Habakkuk showed me as a believer in God that it’s not wrong to have questions for God, but we must be ready to receive the response, no matter its magnitude.
In this book we find one of many powerful scriptures in the Old Testament on faith, scripture states, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails, and the fields produce no food though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD , I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He enables me to tread on the heights” (Habakkuk 3:17-19 NIV).
