Description

From God, Everything tries to follow and show the path designed by God to lead man to achieve the recovery of holiness, an indispensable spiritual requirement to achieve salvation.

From God, Everything tries to follow and show the path designed by God to lead man to achieve the recovery of holiness, an indispensable spiritual requirement to achieve salvation. Beginning in the same Garden where Adam and Eve lost their sanctity, and following the biblical story from Noah to Jesus, our Lord never abandoned the purpose of reuniting humanity with him. As disobedient as we might be, HE had always prepared the adequate method to make us return to obedience. Thanks to that divine determination we can reach salvation today.

PREFACE
In the final months of 2019, I coordinated with the pastor friend of mine, Bienvenida Fernández, who resides in Panama City, in Central America, to conduct a preaching campaign in her church in January 2020 and try to open a mission field in that area. We conducted the campaign between January 24 and January 26. The activity was a success, and the teaching reached the believers, so we decided that I would return in two or three months, as circumstances arose, to continue the work. But things went very badly as the Covid-19 pandemic began in March and all active projects had to be put on hold.
Amid that disconcerting situation, well into the year, without any possibility of ministerial development because of the order to close all public places, including the churches, I turned my face toward God and cried out, “What do I do now? How do I continue to serve you, Lord?” And I received from God, in my spiritual intuition, an inspiration that told me, Write a book with the theological mindset that I have created in you. From that moment on I took up the task of searching for, reviewing, and organizing the notes of the sermons, studies, and classes I had conducted during my ministry of preaching and teaching the Word of God.
The work of authoring the book began in December 2020, with all the difficulties, interruptions, changes, and revisions of the trade, and went until December 2021, when I finished the task entrusted to me by God.
The book From God, Everything does not intend to change the course of the history of Christian literature or to reveal theological secrets hidden until today. I only try to show a biblical theme, namely, holiness, and its development, from the ministerial point of view through which the Lord has guided me. It would be for me the greatest cause for rejoicing if in reading the pages of this book, the reader finds some teaching, wisdom, or joy that brings him or her closer to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
INTRODUCTION
Believing in God means much more than thinking that he exists. It also means turning him into a reason for being and into an experience of spiritual appreciation over all created things. God is essence and presence. The Bible explicitly states in many verses his actual existence, such as in, “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4); “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14); and “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). But Genesis 1:1, which says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” is the principal among all because whoever is able to believe that God brought forth from nothing all that exists by the command of his voice is also able to believe everything else that the Bible says that God did, does, and will do.
To understand any story, it is necessary to know it from the beginning. The Bible is not exempt from this logical reasoning; therefore, we must comprehensively understand the events that occurred in the first three chapters of the Bible to correctly assimilate the rest of the history of the relationship between God and humankind.
The creation narrative contains subtleties that we must not overlook, because they reveal knowledge about the way God works. A detailed reading of the first chapter brings to light two distinct facets of God’s creative process: first, the impersonal creation, Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24, where it is always shown that “God said,” indicating that God commanded to do with the power of his Word, and second, the personal creation, Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,” clearly showing that God personally participated in the formation of a man from the dust of the earth (Genesis 2:7). From this we understand that sometimes God commands things to happen by the power of his word, and at other times he acts directly to make things happen. We also see that God created all the natural elements out of nothing, but he created the man by “forming” him from the dust of the earth. That is, we are not creatures out of nothing, but we are creation formed from creation.
Now, Adam, the man formed directly by the hands of God, possessed and enjoyed holiness by way of creation, because everything that comes out of God’s hands is holy. Eve, who was subsequently formed from Adam’s rib, also enjoyed holiness by way of derivative creation. In this state of holiness—before disobedience—Adam and Eve knew only the good (Genesis 1:31). God endowed human beings with a brain of superior (rational) intelligence to communicate with him, and gave to them five natural senses, sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, to properly relate to the environment and subdue and maintain creation. Adam was the privileged being, the luckiest, because he had been instituted to rule creation. Everything was in his hands; he only had to obey God’s instructions.

CHAPTER 1 THE HUMAN DILEMMA BEGINS
It is important to pay special attention to the breath of life that God breathed into Adam’s nostrils (Genesis 2:7) if we are to understand our existence and our likeness to God, and clearly discern the balance of the relationship between God and humankind according to the consequences of the events that were about to occur.
God possesses two types of attributes: the immanent, which consists of his omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience, and the relative or personal, which are intelligence, will, and feelings. After forming with his own hands from the dust of the earth Adam’s human body, God bowed and breathed the breath (spirit) of life into him but in no way gave to him the divine spiritual essence that contains the immanent attributes of the Deity. God only gave him the energy of life with the relative or personal attributes of the Deity, with the purpose of establishing a close, communicative relationship with humankind, as happened in the garden of Eden while Adam and Eve remained in obedience. Our likeness to God is not divine but personal because we possess, by his grace and mercy, the same personal attributes of intelligence, will, and feelings. Because of this, we are the special creation of God.
Created with Purpose and Privilege
We were created out of love and with love, to love and be loved. The Bible declares that God is love, and the first condition is that love needs to be a blessing, which means it is to be given. A hidden love only causes suffering and frustration, but a shared love produces joy and satisfaction. This was God’s purpose for creating humankind—to be the vessel of love, to receive and deliver this love, and to be a channel of extension of love, that intrinsic characteristic of the divine personality. We have the privilege of being God’s chosen ones to continue the promulgation of his love for the world. God could have chosen eagles or lions to share his love, but he chose us. This is the first of God’s choices for humankind. The whole of creation was designed with us in mind. We are the successful conclusion of God’s work.
Up to One Day
An indeterminate amount of time after these marvelous events, Eve was walking in the garden, performing some of her daily tasks, and the serpent came to meet her. The Bible says that the serpent was cunning. To be cunning is to have the ability to use intelligence to profit from dec
