Description

Scripture shows that Babylon the Great includes everyone who esteems idols in their heart higher than Christ. “Come out of her,” is a warning to all!

Who is Babylon the Great in the book of Revelation? Perhaps you’ve read God’s warning to “Come out of her, my people” and asked yourself if that warning applied to you. Mark Davidson approaches this question from a unique angle. He makes the scriptural case that Babylon the Great is the exact opposite of the Bride. Just as those who make up the Bride follow Christ, those who make up Babylon the Great follow their own idols and desires.

The implication is that Babylon the Great comprises the entire world of people who do not follow Christ, nor make Christ the highest love of their lives. Babylon the Great encompassing the whole world is why Revelation 18:24 says all the blood of those slain on the earth is found in her. Therefore, God’s call in Revelation 18:4 to “Come out of her” has ominous implications for every person, whether Christian or not.

Churches call for people to repent of their sins. However, sin is the result of idolatrous desires. Idolatry is subtle in everyone’s hearts—whether atheist or churchgoer—and its manifestations are everywhere. Everyone is susceptible. God’s last warning in the Bible to “Come out of her, my people” comes with consequences. Ignore this exhortation at your own peril!

Praise for Hidden Babylon and God’s Last War ning
Mark Davidson’s unique, insightful, and deeply impactful book Hidden Babylon and God’s Last Warning offers to take a huge load off the mind of the reader during these turbulent and troubling times. Mark’s unique gift of looking at the Scriptures with a fresh and dynamic perspective, will open the eyes of all of us as we look at the challenges of living in the last days, and help us not succumb to fear and bondage. Mark offers a fresh way to mine the truths of God’s Word, and expose the idols of our day. These powerful truths will encourage us to “come out of Babylon,” flee these idols, and find freedom for ourselves and others. Sound theology has a way of doing that! I strongly encourage you to read and study this amazing book. It will change your life now and for eternity. Maranatha—O Lord come!
— Carl Sutter , senior pastor, Foundations Ch urch, Loveland , CO
This powerful new book by Mark Davidson makes a compelling argument concerning the universality of the hidden Babylon, chiefly represented by idolatry, among other things. The book compels the Christian church to evaluate end times with a much deeper mindset concerning universal morality, and for Christians to rethink what is meant by God’s warning to “come out of her” as noted in Revelation 18:4. This book will force believers to take a much deeper look at culture as it unfolds right before our eyes. Mark Davidson brilliantly brings together a fresh biblical perspective concerning a number of crucial issues we are faced with. In my humble opinion, this book confronts the major cultural issues of our time by spotlighting them with sound biblical proofs.
— Al Fadi , pastor, preacher, and teacher, founder of CIRA Internati onal
As the world slips further to the edge, thoughts, concerns, and conversations are turning to, “Are we approaching the end time?” Now is the time to dig into the significant implications of God’s final warning of Revelation 18:4 to “Come out of her, my people . ” Mark Davidson’s heart has been stirred by this command that has brought him into deep research and chiastic analysis pointing toward a completely different identity for Babylon the Great than what has been taught. This has significant implications for each one of us who follow Christ. I encourage you to spend time in personal reflection reading through Mark’s book Hidden Babylon and God’s Last Warning! Take advantage of Mark’s study bringing insight to the idols that bind us, and it will move you to a deeper experience with God, as it did for me.

PREFACE
Writing a book about Babylon the Great was something I never thought I would do. For years, the topic seemed to me to be too nebulous and mysterious. However, it seems God had other plans for me.
This book is the result of the third leg of my ongoing journey of discovery God has apparently set me on. I believe when Babylon the Great is seen as it really is, then God’s plea in Revelation 18:4 to “Come out of her” becomes far more important than we have been led to believe.
In November 1997, after having walked away from church as a young adult, Christ showed me He had to be my God. In that moment I repented of my ways and committed to following Him. In relationship with Him, He revealed to me who He is and how He works. Following Him and obeying Him became all-important.
My journey of discovery started four years later with a prayer. The events of September 11, 2001 made me sense I was missing knowing God’s plan for this world. Earlier in my life I had studied the popular teachings of Bible end-time prophecy, and nowhere did it hint nineteen Islamists would fly passenger jets into America’s centers of capitalism and defense. So I asked the Lord if He would give me wisdom and show me His plans for the end of the age. Praise God, for He did just that.
It was He who started me on a path of major research delving into world history and Holy Scripture. I discovered that true world history shines a light on Daniel 2:40 and 9:26, showing the Antichrist will be none other than a Muslim Arab living in the Middle East, rather than a Roman, which many had thought he would be.
This in turn led to the discovery of the Four Signposts. These are four
