Description

I am not a theologian but, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I would like this book to open minds to a deeper persective of the God, His Kingdom and His Word in the Bible.

The Bible is as shallow as you want it to be or as deep. If it were an ocean, you could float on the surface, scuba dive or dive deep with the right equipment. I am not a theologian but, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I would like this book to open minds to a deeper perspective of God, His Kingdom and His Word in the Bible.

I was born again in 1989, and it was a supernatural experience. My focus changed from myself to God; I started reading the Bible and found a church. As a baby Christian, my first question was, “Saved from what?” Through the years, as I read the Bible and listened to sermons, I wrote down my way of explaining what an author of a verse was trying to say, because, I believe, Satan has successfully demonized the meaning of many words in the Bible like “sin” and “repent.”
For example, Acts 3:19 (KJV) appears to be full of condemnation if you are not born again. Paul says, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”
I think this verse is saying we need to recognize that our thoughts and behaviors are different from God’s thoughts and behaviors. We need to make a decision to think and behave the way God thinks and behaves. We need to say to God that we want to think and behave the way He does (“repent”).
Once we have told God we want to think and behave the way He does, the blotting out begins, which is a new chapter in your life. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you first to Jesus and show what He did for you on the cross and what He will do when He returns to this world. Then you will be led to the Bible to learn God’s ways.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 KJV)
Most people agree that nobody’s perfect. But do you know people who won’t hold themselves accountable? In other words, they won’t recognize or admit they have done something wrong, and they blame something or someone else. Then the correction a person needs will not get done. It is especially frustrating if they get upset when you try to correct them.
Let’s be clear. This is about following a procedure, like balancing the checkbook or following an established process at work. God instituted procedures of how He wants us to live. Either we do not know His procedures or we fail to follow them and fail to hold ourselves accountable. God wants us to recognize our failures and change. You can ask Him to help you. He is waiting to hear from you.
PS: Following procedures usually produces rewards. A balanced checkbook or a well-run process at work prevents problems. Admitting to God that you need His help will result in a future with Him in His kingdom.

In Romans 6:23 (KJV), Paul writes, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
