I’m impressed. An Invitation to the Supernatural Life by Michele Perry is amazing. Not that I would have expected anything less. I wouldn’t. Most anyone who knows her would say she should be the poster child for supernatural courage. I am just pleasantly surprised at how good this book is. It really is amazing.
Michele could move any of us to tears simply by telling her story. She personifies devotion, resolve and courage. And while there are wonderful bits of her experience sprinkled throughout the book, keeping it authentic, she uses her brilliant insights and an inspirational writing style to move readers to places they might not have expected to go.
To merge the practical with the mystical takes an unusual gift. Michele has done just that wonderfully. In fact, she presents the life that we all hunger for but cannot obtain outside of becoming childlike. This book, in a sense, is true wisdom.
Her life is one of absolute surrender. Adversity, mixed with God encounters, helped this dear one to settle in her quest to know Jesus at a very young age. Her honesty about her own adversities and other disqualifying factors are very disarming. In fact, I found it hard to read of such a journey without looking for the opportunity to display similar faith and courage for myself. She removes all the reasons that anyone would have for not being qualified for a supernatural lifestyle. She overcame, against all odds. And now I must.
While I believe this book would help many seasoned ministers of the Gospel around the world, I hope it finds its way into the hands of the everyday believer the ones who think their lot in life is simply to support those who do the important stuff. My prayer is that An Invitation to the Supernatural Life would be used as a lightning rod, attracting the activities of heaven into the lives of unsuspecting servants of the Lord, who never thought it within their grasp to live as Jesus did. It is. And we must!

I hope and pray our journeys together through the following pages will become an invitation into the amazing supernatural destiny in Jesus you have been created for.
I have read many books on intimacy with Jesus, and living with Him by faith. I savor the testimonies of people who have seen heaven and had profound revelations from Him that have changed their lives. They line my bookshelves.
I am always hungry for more. I am encouraged by every supernatural encounter I read or hear of because I know the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). When I read someone’s revelation from Him, it can become a doorway of faith that unlocks more of my own.
But one thing I have yet to find is a book that shares practical keys to embracing a life filled with your own personal encounters, a book that helps you learn how to see and experience the realms of heaven you are created for. You might call this my attempt to help bridge that gap. May there be many more books that join it.
