…they arrived it was a little later than they had planned because the sun was sitting very low and the Shabbat (Sabbath) was just beginning. Therefore, Baritone, Sha’uwl (Paul) and Bar-nbiy (Barnabas) quickened their pace and traveled down the dusty streets of this little village to the home of Baritone. As soon as Baritone knocked on the wooden door with his signature rapping, small voices began screaming “Ab beyth. Ab beyth (Father is home, father is home!)” Then the door flung open with the speed of lightening and three little ones leaped into the spread open arms of Baritone. His children covered his bearded cheeks with kisses and squeezed him full of hugs. His wife was not too far behind smiling with happiness and relief that he was back home again. After their brief welcoming home embraces, Baritone introduced Sha’uwl (Paul) and Bar-nbiy (Barnabas). Following a hearty delicious evening meal, putting the excited children to bed and a brief conversation about their travels, the weary and worn out travelers went to bed so they could get up the next morning and attend the Shabbat (Sabbath) services at the local synagogue.
At sunrise Sha’uwl and Bar-nbiy were awakened by the aromatic smells filling the morning air of breakfast cooking. The wife of Baritone had prepared baked fresh bread, dried figs, goat’s milk and fried eggs seasoned with fresh onions and diced garlic covered in a light cheese sauce. They also had fresh honey and home-made butter for the piping hot bread and a bowl of a variety of fresh fruit from the local market. After the morning meal the family of Baritone, Sha’uwl and Bar-nbiy left the little house and began walking down the dusty street towards the local synagogue. Sha’uwl and Bar-nbiy were excited about the possibility of being able to share the Good News of the Gospel of Yahusha with the local congregation if given the chance. However, they did not want to seem too presumptuous and cause friction among the friends and neighbors of Baritone and his family. Therefore, they remained in silent prayer as they walked to the synagogue asking the Sacred Breath (Holy Spirit) to prepare the hearts and minds of those attending and to give them wisdom of words if given the opportunity to speak.
They entered into the synagogue of the assemblage of persons that Shabbat (Sabbath) day and sat down in the appropriate places. After the teaching of the Mosaic Law and the Inspired Prophets, the director of the synagogue services called out to them expressing, “Men, brothers, if there is a discourse among you to encourage the people relate it forth in words.” Sha’uwl (Paul) filled with the power of the Sacred Breath (Holy Spirit) stood up with authority and swayed downward with his hand as a signal and he said, “Men, Yhuwdiy (Hebrews) and those who revere Yahuah, hear me! The Yahuah of this people, Yhuwdiy (Hebrews) selected our fathers and the people elevated to the foreign residence of Mitsrayim (Egypt) and with a lofty strong arm He led them forth from out of it. In the manner that forty years of age of time passed He endured their habits in the lonesome wasteland. He demolished with violence seven foreign nations in the land of Kna’an (Canaan) and gave us a portion of the estate, their land.”
“After these things, for four hundred and fifty years, He gave judges until Shmuw’Yah (Samuel) the inspired prophet. From that place in time they asked for a sovereign and Yahuah gave to them Sha’uwl (Saul) son of Qiysh (Kish) meaning ‘a bow’, a man of the tribal clan of Binyamiyn (Benjamin) for forty years. After disposing of him, He aroused to them David as a sovereign, to whom also He said as a witness and testifying, ‘I found David the son of Yishay (Jesse) meaning ‘to exist’, a man according to My heart of feelings and thoughts who will do all of My determined purpose’. Yahuah announced a pledge of Divine Assurance that from the seed of this one, will be aroused to Yisra’Yah (Israel) a Messiah, Yahusha. Yowchanan HaBaptista (John the Baptist) heralded and proclaimed in advance in front of the face of His coming with an immersion baptism for the compunction of guilt and a reversal of one’s decision to all the people of Yisra’Yah (Israel). Yowchanan (John) verified the prediction in the manner of the race of life when he expressed, ‘Whom do you surmise me to be? I do not exist as He but lo, He who comes after me I am not deserving or suitable to Whom to loosen the sandals under His feet.’”
Sha’uwl (Paul) continued as the congregation listened intensely in silence, “Men, brothers, sons of the kin of Abraham and those of you revering Yahuah. To us this Messiah of salvation was sent out on a mission. For this reason those residing permanently in Yruwshalaim (Jerusalem) and their first in rank and power not knowing this One through the lack of intelligence and the voices of the inspired prophets throughout every Shabbat (Sabbath) being read to know again, having decided to condemn Him, they executed. Having found not even one reason for death, they asked Pilatos (Pilate) to murder Him. In the manner that they completed all the things with respect to Him that had been written and described, lowered Him from the timber and they place Him in a place of burial. But Yahuah roused Him from lying in death. Who was gazed at by wide-open eyes for many days to those ascending in the company with Him from Galiylah (Galilee) to Yruwshalaim (Jerusalem), who are witnesses of Him to the people.”
“Bar-nbiy (Barnabas) and I announce the good news of the Gospel to you, the announced pledge of Divine Assurance having become to the fathers. That this pledge Yahuah has accomplished entirely to us, their children, standing up Yahusha just as also in the second Thillah (Psalm) verse seven it has been written and described, “ I will celebrate the appointed enactment of Yahuah, He said to Me, You are My Son. I have begotten You today!” Because He stood Him up from the dead, no further about to return to decay, thus He has said, I will give you the sacred things of the trustworthy David. He related in words also in a different one Thillah (Psalm) chapter sixteen verse ten, “ For You will not relinquish My breath to Hades. You will not give Your Holy One to see destruction.” For this reason, in fact, David having been a subordinate to his own generation of age by the advice of Yahuah was put to sleep and was placed additionally to his fathers and saw decay. But Whom Yahuah aroused from lying in death, He did not see decay. Therefore, let it be well known unto you, men, brothers that through the One is proclaimed the pardon and freedom of your sins and from all things which you could not do by the Mosaic Law to be made innocent. In this One everyone having faith to entrust their spiritual well-being to the Messiah is made innocent.”
“Lo, certainly, do not let attack or influence the thing spoken by the Inspired Prophets found in Chabaqquwq (Habakkuk) chapter one verse five, “See among the foreign nations and look intently at with regard of pleasure and be stunned even to grow numb because a work is working in your days of sunset to sunset which you will not believe, even though it was recorded and recounted to you.” Sha’uwl (Paul) concluded his teaching by saying, “Men, brother Yhuwdiy (Hebrews) and Gentiles revering Yahuah. I am standing before you telling you this message. Now you must believe or you will perish!” Sha’uwl then took his seat and the stunned and spell-bound congregation sat silently for a brief moment and then the leader of the synagogue got up and dismissed the congregation from the Shabbat (Sabbath) service.
As they were leaving the synagogue, the leader and several important leaders shook their hands and invited them to speak to them those things about this narration on the next Shabbat (Sabbath). Sha’uwl and Bar-nbiy agreed to the invitation. Thus after being loosened from the synagogue of the assemblage of persons that day they spent the week sharing the good news of the Gospel with the townspeople of Antiocheia, Pisidia (Antioch, Pisidian modern south central Turkey). Many of the Yhuwdiy (Hebrews) and Gentile converts accompanied Sha’uwl and Bar-nbiy who were conversing with them and convinced them to remain in the graciousness of Yahuah.
On the next Shabbat (Sabbath=Friday sundown to Saturday sundown) as the last day of the week, nearly all the town was convened together to hear about the Messiah of Yahuah. The Yhuwdiy (Hebrew) Pharisees saw
