Patrick O Connor has accomplished the missiological version of crossing Niagara Falls on a tightrope while blindfolded; he has written an organized presentation of the principles for building up indigenous churches, without turning it into another fad system. Bravo!
Gene Daniels, Author In Search of the Indigenous Church: A Missionary Pilgriimage
O Connor has provided us with a great tool that will help guide thousands of church planters in launching healthy, growing congregations.
Geoff Tunnicliffe, International Director World Evangelical Alliance
The cost of missions is rising. The numbers of international workers from North America are shrinking. If there was ever a day when stewardship demanded that we leverage our resources, it is today. The principles of Reproducible Pastoral Training will make that happen.
Paul Seger, General Director Biblical Ministries Worldwide
The biblical principles I learned from Patterson directly affected the seventy-two Buddhist background house churches that we have seen established in Myanmar and Burma during the past three years.
A Strategy Coordinator, Burma
It s been said that Christianity is always one generation from extinction. The proliferation of spiritual leaders is a crying need worldwide. Reproducible Pastoral Training shows churches in any culture how to leave a legacy of equipped spiritual leaders.
Jerry Rueb, Pastor Cornerstone Church, Long Beach, California
Reproducible Pastoral Training is an impressive, up-to-date manual on church planting that should be studied by all who are involved in church planting movements. The principles laid are universal and scriptural.
Victor Choudhrie, MD, Nagpur, India
Combining years of experience in the area of training leaders to multiply churches with a broad knowledge of scholarship in the field, O Connor has given us an excellent reference for all who seek to increase their skill and knowledge in the crucial area. As a practitioner and as a teacher, I look forward to using Reproducible Pastoral Training to mentor, coach, and teach others.
Mikel Neumann, Professor Western Seminary
This reader-friendly book is a goldmine of information on effective church planting from two men who have been doing it for years. Whether you re a church planter or church leader with a passion for reaching the lost, you can t get any more practical than this!
Rad Zdero, Author The Global House Church Movement
O Connor has provided church planters around the globe a must have resource. This material is dynamite. We used these principles to start Mongolia s first indigenous church planting movement. Don t leave home without it!
Brian Hogan, Church Planting Coach Youth with a Mission
In 1974, I wandered into the Honduran home of George and Denny Patterson. They took a raw, inexperienced and untrained young man and taught me biblical, common sense ways of being a discipler and church planter. I ve applied those principles everywhere the Lord has led me and they have not failed me. Nor will they fail you.

Foreword
I appreciate Patrick O Connor s compilation of these church planting and training guidelines. He has shown painstaking perseverance while wading through piles of boring stuff, gleaning and organizing it. In compiling the topics in a useful order, he recovered many lost gems that I had forgotten. He also brings a fresh view from the field where he is currently immersed in church planting while training Christian leaders.
One of many missionaries whom I have mentored through the years, he has applied well what I taught him, but not blindly. For years he has adapted these guidelines to a neglected area of rural western Honduras where the Lord has birthed he
