Hebrews 4:12 World English Bible (WEB)
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two‐edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Angel Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son 1 on the altar?
The LORD’sangelcalled to him out of the sky, and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” 2 He said, “Here I am.”
Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it 3 rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
The twoangels came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw 4 them, and rose up to meet them. He bowed himself with his face to the earth,
But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the 5 Lord ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’
The LORD’sangelappeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not 6 consumed.
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. The king spoke and said to Daniel, Your God whom you serve continually, he 7 will deliver you.
My God has sent hisangel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not 8 hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me;
9 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent hisangel, and delivered his servants who trusted in 10 him,
forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the 11 son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing.
Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the LORD’sangel standing in the way, with his sword drawn in his hand; and he bowed his head, 12 and fell on his face.
