Sample Book Insights:
#1 The Jubilean mysteries are a mystery of mysteries. They were birthed in a desert not unlike this one and on a mountaintop not unlike the one on which we sit. They have determined the course of empires and superpowers, kings and presidents.
#2 I was a skeptic. I didn't believe in any purpose or significance in life. I saw everything as a series of random events and accidents. I was the last person to be telling you about the fingerprints of God.
#3 The Oracle was a person who spoke divine revelation or counsel or prophecy. The ancient world was filled with oracles, and as long as people seek revelation, there will always be oracles of one kind or another.
#4 The oracles were a part of pagan religion. The Bible speaks of the pagan soothsayers and warns against their practices, the channeling of spirits, the practicing of divination, and the worship of pagan gods. But the Bible is also filled with those called and appointed to bring forth divine messages and revelations, to share divine counsel, and to discern and interpret the signs of the times.

#1

The Jubilean mysteries are a mystery of mysteries. They were birthed in a desert not unlike this one and on a mountaintop not unlike the one on which we sit. They have determined the course of empires and superpowers, kings and presidents.

#2

I was a skeptic. I didn't believe in any purpose or significance in life. I saw everything as a series of random events and accidents. I was the last person to be telling you about the fingerprints of God.

#3

The Oracle was a person who spoke divine revelation or counsel or prophecy. The ancient world was filled with oracles, and as long as people seek revelation, there will always be oracles of one kind or another.

#4

The oracles were a part of pagan religion.

#5

I was in the library, going through an article preserved on microfilm, when I saw it. It was a side note about how in a certain region the locals told the story of a man who lived in the mountains and only emerged in the villages on the rarest of occasions. They called him the Oracle.

#6

I reached the end of the instructions. I was now beyond exhaustion. I lay down in my tent on the cloths that formed my pillow. I stayed awake for a time. I couldn’t stop wondering what lay ahead.

#7

I was told to go to the camp by the figure sitting on a large rock at the top of the mountain. I was led through a valley, a plain, and finally to the top of the mountain, where I saw the figure of a man sitting on a large rock.

#8

I had a vision of an ancient-looking temple with large stone pillars, capitals, steps, and a roof. It was glowing, radiant. I was alone. I could see figures, clothed in white and likewise radiant, moving around me. In front of me was a man clothed in a white robe.

#9

The Oracle told me that the key of light represented a revelation, and that I would need to find the owner of the house to open the mysteries. She said that the mystery had seven parts, seven streams, and that each door would open up one of them.
Insights from Chapter 2

#1

I was given a key that allowed me to enter the Oracle’s chambers. I entered the chamber, and found myself on top of a high mountain overlooking a vast desert plain filled with people dressed in ancient garments. They were looking up at an ancient figure who stood in front of them.

#2

The old man then ascended a rock that comprised the highest point of the mountain’s pinnacle. He blew a ram’s horn, and what came out was not natural but something in between the sound of sirens and the sound of thunder. He then spoke to the multitudes scattered in the nations.

#3

The Oracle explained that the Jewish people were a sign of God’s existence, and that they were brought into existence as a witness to the world. They were a people who stood out from other nations.

#4

The second exile was the result of the Jewish people losing their land in 70 AD to the Roman Empire. They were scattered to the ends of the earth, and would be persecuted from nation to nation.

#5

The Oracle told me that the Jewish people would return to their land, which was prophesied in the Bible. This would be a sign of the end times, and it would go against all odds.

#6

I was back in the desert with Moses, and the ram’s horn was sounding. The old man placed his hand on the ram’s head and whispered something into its ear. The ram began descending the mountain into the desert below.

#7

The story of Moses is a prime example of how our lives are often influenced by the people we meet and the places we visit. The man in the story, Moses, was influenced by the people and places he met, and as a result, he was able to lead his people out of slavery and into freedom.

#8

I saw a young man clothed in red military apparel. He appeared to be a soldier from the British Empire. He was measuring structures that weren't there or were invisible. When he finished, the two of them walked away. But then the man in white stopped and turned around.

#9

The rabbi then placed his right hand on the journeyer’s head and said, And this day, it is fulfilled in your coming.

#10

I saw an ancient city frozen in time, with people walking its streets. Then I saw the city sink into the sand, and everything turn to stone. Then the city began to rise up through the sand.

#11

I had a vision of a barren vineyard. In the midst of the vineyard was a woman imprisoned in a cage of dry branches. She had the appearance of one who had been beaten, abused, and scarred. She sat downcast on the ground of her cage.

#12

The Oracle was the last vision I had before I died. It was similar to the first vision I had when I went to see her, with the ram and the city. But this time, the city was golden and set on a mountain.

#13

The Oracle told me that the first symbol I saw was the Hebrew letter zayin, which begins the word zerah. Zerah means seed. The Oracle explained that the seeds represent the Jubilee of seeds, origins, beginnings, and the sowing of purposes.

#14

The Oracle told me that the stranger would come from a faraway land and when he entered the land, he would bear witness of its barrenness, its devastation, and its desolation. The stranger would come before a specific end-time event takes place: the regathering of the Jewish people.

#15

The prophet Deuteronomy foretold that the stranger would bear witness of the land as devoid of people and unable to produce life. Mark Twain would write that the land was a scorching, arid, and repulsive solitude.

#16

The Oracle told me that the man with the measuring line was to be a witness to the generation. He was to mark the ending of the land’s devastation and lead into the beginning of its redemption and the return of its exiles.
