INTRODUCTION
The Barnabas Connection began on July 14, 2021 as an outlet of encouragement and inspiration for the Body of Christ. The name was derived from one of the Apostles in the Book of Acts. According to Acts 4:36, “And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation ) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus)” KJV
The Scriptures admonish us to exhort one another. There has been so much chaos and unrest in these past few years. It has caused many to grow weary and give up. I believe if we “SPREAD HOPE”, it will “GIVE LIFE”. The Bible highlights Jesus as being the Hope of Glory. For it is written in Colossians 1:27, “to whom God would make known what is the riches of glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” KJV
We have the power to speak forth “life” or “death“. Barnabas was one of the Apostles with an anointing of encouragement. He was called to lift others, even when he needed it himself. There was a call and mandate upon his life to help push and lift up others. I believe a similar mantle rests upon my life and others in the Body of Christ. Seeing the utter darkness sent to plague the earth and torment God’s people, has inspired me to answer this sovereign call.
We never know what a person is facing. Therefore, when it is in our power to do good, we should. Proverbs 3:27 encourages us, “ Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. ” Hence, each week, since July 2021, I have been sending Apostolic/Prophetic inspiration.
I received a prophecy that these Barnabas Connection Weekly Words from the Lord would become a devotional book. It truly pushed me to continue penning this work.The following pages were born from the heart and breath of God. May He breathe life upon you, as you read them daily. It is my prayer you will not only run the race but WIN !
