Description

This thought-provoking, insightful book details the importance of knowing more about the relationship between God and Satan, and how Satan uses his wiles to corrupt us and take our souls.

One of the biggest mysteries in Christianity is the meaning of the number 666. It refers to man and the beast. But how? And who gave it that meaning?

In her book, The Revelation of 666 Man and Image, author Leticia “Lee” Verdin reveals the ultimate image created by man. There is no other image that can surpass 666 as 666 was made in the image of man, who was made in the image of God. Created in the image of God, 666 can choose to mirror the Creator in deed, but the man-created image was set up in honor of the beast. Man can choose to worship and serve God or to worship and serve the beast. It’s a spiritual matter of life or death.

In the insightful and thought-provoking The Revelation of 666 Man and Image, Verdin details the importance of knowing more about the relationship between God and Satan. You will also learn how Satan uses his wiles to corrupt us and take our souls. Knowledge can provide the tools necessary to defeating the beast.

PREFACE

This book is about humankind’s relationship with God, which began in the Garden of Eden full of love peace and joy and Satan’s diabolical interference with that relationship. Human’s allowed that fatal interference, which resulted in a life with pain, hardship and eventually death. Satan’s plan, from that time on, is to make himself like the Most High, by continuing to turn humans away from God. But truthfully, the serpent only succeeded because the interference was allowed. They chose banishment. Humans have always been free, with untouchable power to make up one’s mind. Thus, it’s imperative to make decisions that we can live with because we’ll be living with them. The Bible, specifically Genesis chapters one through three, in essence, tell of the original, woeful decision, made in the Garden of Eden, and the consequences of that faulty judgment. That decision initiated humankind’s separation from God, the first death, which inevitably entails engaging in a world of pain, the kind of world humankind lives in now. And those chapters also foretell the potential end, given the choices made to determine the plan for the future, as the original influence did. There is warning in that Bible narrative as there are parallels with the beginning and the end of the world as it is known, all depending on choices. Along with the occurrence in Eden, there is prophesy which foretells the future, which occurs when that’s the future selected. The writing’s on the wall. Choices set the plan for the future as foretold in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the large statue, with the feet of iron and clay, the final kingdom, and in Revelation with the number of man/666, his final image/666/robots, [with artificial intelligence (AI)], the WWW/666, and mark of that beast. All these things are set in place to take over: the WWW, AI (with all of human knowledge at its disposal), robots (with AI), and the mark of the beast, ready to take control. Enticed by knowledge, humans readily handed over free will and power for the advancement of Satan’s plan, though unknown, to them, then. The decision to advance human knowledge, gained from eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, advances the serpent’s plan and sets the stage for the inevitable second, final death, only if the Satan is allowed to continue interfering with humankind’s relationship with God, a relationship full of forgiveness, love, peace, and joy. Thus, it’s imperative to make a decision that we can live with because we will either be living with it, or dying with it. In Eden, humans surrendered to Satan’s plan to acquire the knowledge of good and evil, to accomplish his plan, entailing pain, toil and death, known to date. And, by choice, lost the paradise of knowing only love, peace and joy.
CHAPTER 1

God is love.

God is love.
—1 John 4:16
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Ge 1:1). On earth, God planted, in perfect love, the Garden of Eden prepared for humans to live a full life, with every need met. Perfect love fulfills all needs. There’s nothing lacking in God’s perfect love. Eden is God’s perfect love. Humankind was given food, clean water, clean air, life, health, physical comfort, purpose, security, support, kindness, mercy, gentleness, generosity, goodness, patience, discipline, and wisdom. There is no greater love than God’s love, for God is love. And humans are completely free to choose love, but love requires self-control. Love seems difficult because it requires discipline to maintain.
To go against love requires absolutely no discipline. Loss of self-control is expressed in rage, jealousy, gluttony, addictions, promiscuity, cursing, dishonor, murder, adultery, theft, lying; anything harmful to self and others is contrary to love. Yet there is 100 percent responsibility for all choices made. Love would not be perfect without total freedom and complete responsibility. Love leaves no room for blame. And there is no true love without forgiveness.
But love offers mercy and forgiveness to heal the merciful. Forgiveness reestablishes control. It is a pain-management therapy. Healing can begin when self-control replaces blame or anger. Pain expressed in blame or anger festers and fuels the hurt. Forgiveness heals pain because, through forgiveness, pain is subdued and managed. Forgiveness is a requirement for love. Perfect love fulfills all needs and offers a bountiful life. Love is God, and God is love.
Truly, the only good humans do is done out of love. Love offers protection. Protection offers security. Security offers confidence. And confidence offers self-esteem. But protection must be freely chosen. Here is an example:
You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die. (Gn 2:16–17)
Man ate from the poisoned tree, which breached love’s protection and led to insecurity, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, and eventually death. This is evidenced by man’s comment, “I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid” (Gn 3:10). Security was lost to fear. “I was afraid.” And confidence and self-esteem were diminished. “I was naked so I hid.” As for physical death, that’s inevitable. In love, man had protection, security, confidence, and self-esteem, but by choice, man forsook all to pursue knowledge. Man breached his relationship with the Most Holy God, so man experienced his first death.
The future is determined through choices made.
