Description

Come and drink freely of the rivers of living water.
This book is written for those with a longing for the joy of being alive, who desire the satisfaction of living, and who pray for the refreshing of life. God, through Jesus Christ, offers us the water of life freely to drink if we are thirsty. In this book, we explore what the rivers of living water are. We give examples of those who have drank of it. And we show how the bible teaches us to drink of it.

CHAPTER 1
There is a river, the streams of which make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. (Psalm 46:4-5)
T his passage of scripture was written by David the king who in the course of his life faced many troubles. He was a fugitive from a government that sought to kill him and was constantly in fear for his life. He lived in peril of waters, in peril of robbers, in perils of his own countrymen, in perils of the heathen, in peril in the city, in peril in the fields, in peril in the sea, and in peril among false brethren. He lived in weariness and in painfulness, in watchfulness often; in hunger and thirst, and in fastings often.
